Well, here I am in the ER with my wife again. Seems she somehow managed to contract a bad case of pneumonia in her right lung, complicated by her COPD. So they're admitting her for a day or two so they can administer IV anti-biotics and keep an eye on her till she starts to mend. Happy $#@!ing new year.

Troubles come not as a single spies but in battalions to those I know this past couple of weeks.

Prayers and well wishes, of course.
Theye have refused their Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

Theye have erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.

Theye kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies

Theye have combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution,

For protecting them, by a mock Trial from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:

For cutting off our Trade with parts of the world:

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefit of Trial by Jury:

Theye plundered and destroyed the lives of our people.

Theye are at this time transporting Armies of Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation, and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & Perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy of a civilized nation.

Thanks so much, brother. Hey, at least it isn't cancer again.

Praise for that. My prayer is she will be back at home soon. Healing is done best there.

Something that helped me when I had pneumonia was a trick a nurse showed me. You inhale as much air as you can at once and then force down more in gulps until you're ready to burst. Do that a few times in a row as often as you can handle it. You get dizzy as hell but it opens the lungs up and allows them to expell the nasty $#@! that hides in there when you get that.

It helped me, and it helped my daughter when she had it. Anyway, sorry to hear you started the year like this.

Well, now they're checking her for blood clots in lung and legs. They did this once before, when she was in for brain tumors, so we expect it to be ok, but still a little stressful. If tests come back ok she could be home as early as tomottow. Thanks again man.

I always hate seeing messages like this, because I wish I could do more, for so many of our RPF "family" that are, or have been suffering through the same thing in the past.

Of course, best wishes and prayers for a speedy and uncomplicated recovery.
