    New Year's Resolutions

I'm going to try to be more patient.

I was going to resolve to be less apathetic, but then I thought to myself "Why bother?"

"Government ... does not exist of necessity, but rather by virtue of a tragic, almost comical combination of klutzy, opportunistic terrorism against sitting ducks whom it pretends to shelter, plus our childish phobia of responsibility, praying to be exempted from the hard reality of life on life's terms." Wolf DeVoon

"...Make America Great Again. I'm interested in making American FREE again. Then the greatness will come automatically."Ron Paul

    Not much. Less is more.

Hate to break it to you, but the r3v line was not very successful. Happy new year even if we don't get to see you again.

There is only one kind of freedom and that's individual liberty. Our lives come from our creator
and our liberty comes from our creator. It has nothing to do with government granting it. -Ron Paul

    Good advice.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

I resolve to come up with a concrete plan to expand my house, and make it big enough to fit us now that we have an unexpected kid.
Which is also a double entendre, because part of that is I need to find someone who works in AAC.
There are no crimes against people.
There are only crimes against the state.
And the state will never, ever choose to hold accountable its agents, because a thing can not commit a crime against itself.

No point in making resolutions. Most people never live up to them.
