I don't want to jinx it, but those swingin' A's are looking good. We should be in first since it's total BS that the Astros switched leagues anyway. Teams that share a market should never be in the same league. By all rights, the A's should be leading the West, if MLB was remotely competent.

A's MLB leading 11th win when trailing after 7 puts them one game behind houston . A win tonight will tie them for first . A's lead seattle by 3 1/2 games , a win tonight would put them about 2 behind the yankees for first wildcard spot and tied for division lead.

A's entered today with a team ERA of 3.79 . Going down today . A's win tomorrow will put houston in last playoff spot with only a 2 or three game lead on seattle. A's 11 - 3 this month .Today the team batting avg should slide up to .250 finally . thats what improvement is needed . If we can finish Aug like we started it we will be where we need to going into Sept.
