U.S. District Judge Rudolph Contreras Mysteriously Recuses Himself From Michael Flynn Case
    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-1...ael-flynn-case

    This is not a 'mystery'...
Contreras sits on the 3 Judge FISA panel... that the FBI was 'feeding' to obtain 'hot potato' warrants as needed for cover
on wire taps & deep dives they were ALREADY engaged in.... for MONTHS.

There was no collusion on his part afaik...
he's smart enough to recuse himself so the prosecution can't 'create' a 'mistrial' for the defense
which would 'terminate' the case... before defense 'discovery' has a chance to expose all the FBI corruption.
    Follow me?

Wray Investigates FBI Brass For Reported Vigilante-Like Plot to “F*ck” Flynn & Trump
    https://truepundit.com/wray-investig...k-flynn-trump/

Wray, according to sources, is honing in on the FBI brass who cheered deputy director Andrew McCabe during a packed staff meeting in early 2017, just after Trump was inaugurated.

As True Pundit reported in March, mere days before Gen. Michael Flynn was sacked as national security advisor,

McCabe gathered more than a dozen of his top FBI disciples to plot how to ruin Flynn’s aspiring political career and manufacture evidence to derail President Donald Trump, according to FBI sources.

McCabe, the second highest ranking FBI official, emphatically declared at the invite-only gathering with raised voice: “$#@! Flynn and then we $#@! Trump,” according to direct sources. Many of his top lieutenants applauded and cheered such rhetoric. A scattered few did not.

This was one of several such meetings held in seclusion among key FBI leaders since Trump was elected president, FBI sources confirm. At the congregation where McCabe went off the political rails and vowed to destroy Flynn and Trump, there were as many as 16 top FBI officials, inside intelligence sources said. No lower-level agents or support personnel were present.

Now, ten months later, FBI sources said Wray has been isolating and interviewing agents and former agents to put a list together to pinpoint who was present at the meeting and confirm the reporting by True Pundit.

No other media publication could duplicate True Pundit’s sourcing but Wray, FBI sources said, has already confirmed McCabe’s statements during his inquiry. However, it appears many in the upper ranks of Wray’s FBI — labeled McCabe disciples — may not be cooperating with the internal inquiry. Therefore, Wray continues to work all other channels to firm up who was at the meeting and who the broadcast of the meeting, which was supposedly teleconferenced to agents in other field offices, went out to.

It does not appear an official recording of the broadcast was maintained of the meeting, sources said.

Ex-FBI Director James Comey did not investigate the meeting and other subsequent meetings similar to the F*ck Flynn meeting prior to his dismissal in June, according to FBI sources.

    Wray, however, is investigating.

What is the end game here? Wray has not ruled out forcing retirements, firings, demoting agents in pay grade and other disciplinary action, sources confirm.

Meanwhile, McCabe faces new allegations weekly — on many different fronts — and is expected to leave the FBI within weeks, sources said. He is the target of at least two other external probes, from the United States Office of the Inspector General and the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Wray has asked the OIG to expedite the report of its FBI probe before year’s end, according to FBI sources, to likewise expedite possible disciplinary where warranted.

At the very minimum, you would think the people under suspicion would be relieved of duty and sent home while they are being investigated.

Could you imagine a bank, with employees accused of theft and embezzlement, just letting them continue doing their jobs?

As head of the Executive Branch, it seems like Trump would have the authority to fire compromised or corrupt employees of the Executive Branch, despite the predictable hysterical screeching of the Democrats and socialist establishment.

Embattled FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe has reportedly stiffed the House Intelligence Committee who expected him to testify on Tuesday.
According to late-breaking reports Monday night, McCabe will blow off the hearing. ...
McCabe Cancels Testimony, Something "Far More Sinister" With Fusion GPS

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe abruptly cancelled his closed door testimony in front of the House Intelligence Committee as news emerged that the wife of Senior DOJ official Bruce Ohr worked for Fusion GPS, .. Ohr was demoted last week after allegedly trying to conceal his contacts with Fusion.

Fox News reporter Chad Pergram's sources tell him "McCabe has an Ohr problem," and they believe "FBI DepDir McCabe not coming to Hse Intel Cmte tomorrow because he'd be asked about Bruce Ohr & Ohr's wife Nellie who worked for Fusion GPS," adding "something far more sinister." …

Of note, House Intel Committee chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) announced last week that they were prepared to hold McCabe and assistant Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in contempt for the DOJ's failure to comply with a previous subpoena. He also accused the FBI and the DOJ of willfully refusing to comply with an Aug. 24 subpoena in part by refusing the committee's request "for an explanation of Peter Strzok's dismissal from the Mueller probe." …

Nellie Ohr, the wife of disgraced DOJ official Bruce Ohr, was employed at Fusion GPS last year. Her term of employment overlapped with the period when the Trump dossier was being compiled. … she has done extensive research on Russia-related topics for think tanks based in the Washington, DC area. …

Bruce Ohr's wife not only worked for Fusion GPS, but also represented the CIA's "Open Source Works" group in a 2010 "expert working group report on international organized crime" along with Bruce Ohr and Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson. …

So - Nellie Ohr, the wife of recently demoted DOJ official Bruce Ohr - worked for both Fusion GPS and the CIA. It is unclear whether her time at Fusion overlapped with her time at the CIA. …

the directive that established Open Source Works is classified, as is the charter of the organization. In fact, CIA says the very existence of any such records is a classified fact. “The CIA can neither confirm nor deny the existence or nonexistence of records responsive to your request,” wrote Susan Viscuso, CIA Information and Privacy Coordinator, in a November 29 response to a Freedom of Information Act request from Jeffrey Richelson of the National Security Archive for the Open Source Works directive and charter. …

House investigators determined that during the 2016 election, Bruce Ohr met with former MI6 spy Christopher Steele, and shortly after the 2016 election he met with Glenn Simpson, the co-founder of Fusion GPS - who commissioned Steele to assemble the dossier. …

Another factor in McCabe's sudden cancellation is a report from The Hill's John Solomon that Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) recently interviewed a retired FBI supervisor who told him he was instructed by Deputy Director Andrew McCabe not to call the 2012 Benghazi attack an act of terrorism when distributing the FBI's findings to the larger intelligence community - despite knowing exactly who conducted the attack. The agent found the instruction concerning because his unit had gathered incontrovertible evidence showing a major al Qaeda figure had directed the attack and the information had already been briefed to President Obama …

If true, it means McCabe lied for the Obama administration in a clear, partisan violation of the FBI's mandate

Whether McCabe cancelled over his "Ohr problem," or for instructing a retired FBI supervisor to lie about the Benghazi attack, or because he doesn't want to talk about Peter Strzok's dismissal from the Mueller probe - one thing is for sure … we can probably expect subpoenas to start flying …

The Justice Department is refusing to reveal details of the process that led up to former FBI Director Robert Mueller being granted an ethics waiver to serve as special counsel investigating the Trump campaign's alleged collusion with Russia during the 2016 presidential election.
In response to a POLITICO Freedom of Information Act request, the agency released a one-sentence memo Friday confirming that Mueller was granted a conflict-of-interest waiver in order to assume the politically sensitive post.

    Well isn't that special.

Here's Trey Gowdy blasting Rosenstein on the mountain-size avalanche of overt corruption and conflicts of interests uncovered among Mueller and his team, and the corruption and conflicts just keep accumulating virtually by the hour.
Trey: the whole purpose of a special counsel is to avoid conflicts of interest and corruption in the investigation, yet we've gotten nothign but corruption and conflicts from Mueller and his team.

    This just confirmed today:

A co-founder of the opposition research firm Fusion GPS acknowledged in a new court document that his company hired the wife of a senior Justice Department official to help investigate then-candidate Donald Trump last year.

The confirmation from Glenn Simpson came in a signed declaration filed in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., and provided a fuller picture of the nature of Nellie Ohr’s work …

Her husband, Bruce Ohr, was demoted at the DOJ last week for concealing his meetings with the same company …

Simpson said he … met personally with Bruce Ohr, “at his request, after the November 2016 election to discuss our findings regarding Russia and the election.”

edits made to former FBI Director James Comey's statement exonerating Hillary Clinton … went far beyond what was previously known, as detailed in a Thursday letter from committee chairman Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) to FBI Director Christopher Wray. …

The letter reveals specific edits made by senior FBI agents when Deputy Director Andrew McCabe exchanged drafts of Comey's statement with senior FBI officials, including Peter Strzok, Strzok's direct supervisor, E.W. "Bill" Priestap, Jonathan Moffa, and an unnamed employee from the Office of General Counsel (identified by Newsweek as DOJ Deputy General Counsel Trisha Anderson) - in what was a coordinated conspiracy among top FBI brass to decriminalize Clinton's conduct by changing legal terms and phrases, omitting key information, and minimizing the role of the Intelligence Community in the email investigation. Doing so virtually assured that then-candidate Hillary Clinton would not be prosecuted.

Also mentioned in the letter are the immunity agreements granted by the FBI in June 2016 to top Obama advisor Cheryl Mills and aide Heather Samuelson - who helped decide which Clinton emails were destroyed before turning over the remaining 30,000 records to the State Department. Of note, the FBI agreed to destroy evidence on devices owned by Mills and Samuelson which were turned over in the investigation. …

Johnson's letter also questions an "insurance policy" referenced in a text message sent by demoted FBI investigator Peter Strzok to his mistress, FBI attorney Lisa Page, which read "I want to believe the path you threw out to consideration in Andy's office -- that there's no way he gets elected -- but I'm afraid we can't take that risk." It's like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you're 40...."

One wonders if the "insurance policy" Strzok sent to Page on August 15, 2016 was in reference to the original counterintelligence operation launched against Trump of which Strzok became the lead investigator in "late July" 2016? Of note, Strzok reported directly to Bill Priestap - the director of Counterintelligence, who told James Comey not to inform congress that the FBI had launched a counterintelligence operation against then-candidate Trump, per Comey's March 20th testimony to the House Intelligence Committee. (h/t @TheLastRefuge2) …

The letter from the Senate Committee concludes; "the edits to Director Comey's public statement, made months prior to the conclusion of the FBI's investigation of Secretary Clinton's conduct, had a significant impact on the FBI's public evaluation of the implications of her actions. This effort, seen in the light of the personal animus toward then-candidate Trump by senior FBI agents leading the Clinton investigation and their apparent desire to create an "insurance policy" against Mr. Trump's election, raise profound questions about the FBI's role and possible interference in the 2016y presidential election and the role of the same agents in Special Counsel Mueller's investigation of President Trump." …

Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team has taken possession of "many tens of thousands" of emails from the Trump transition team, obtained through the General Services Administration - the government agency responsible for hosting the transition email system which used a "ptt.gov" address, and which according to a Trump lawyer were improperly obtained through "unlawful conduct."
The trove of documents, which includes sensitive emails to and from Trump son-in-law and top advisor Jared Kushner, comprise 12 email accounts - one of which reportedly contains around 7,000 emails. Mueller's team has reportedly been using the emails as the basis for witness interviews, sources tell Axios.

The transition emails are said to include sensitive exchanges on matters that include potential appointments, gossip about the views of particular senators involved in the confirmation process, speculation about vulnerabilities of Trump nominees, strategizing about press statements, and policy planning on everything from war to taxes. -Axios
Mueller is using the emails to confirm things, and get new leads,” a transition source adds.

Tranistion team lawyer Kory Langhofer says the Special Counsel obtained the documents through "unlawful conduct" by the General Services Administration, reports Fox News.

In a letter obtained by Fox News and sent to House and Senate committees on Saturday, the transition team’s attorney alleges “unlawful conduct” by the career staff at the General Services Administration in handing over transition documents to the special counsel’s office.

Kory Langhofer, the counsel to Trump for America, wrote in the letter that the special counsel’s office is aware that the GSA “did not own or control the records in question.”

But, Langhofer says, Mueller’s team has “extensively used the materials in question, including portions that are susceptible to claims of privilege.

The Trump transition team lawyer argued the actions “impair the ability of future presidential transition teams to candidly discuss policy and internal matters that benefit the country as a whole.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has once again balked at questions over the need for a second special counsel to investigate the Justice Department, telling reporters at a Friday press conference that while he's concerned about recent allegations of bias within the FBI, "sometimes things that might appear to be bad in the press have more innocent explanations, so fairness and justice should also be provided to our personnel."
Last week Sessions responded to mounting pressure to launch a second special counsel, stating "I've put a Senior Attorney, with the resources he may need, to review cases in our office and make a recommendation to me, if things aren't being pursued that need to be pursued, if cases may need more resources to complete in a proper manner, and to recommend to me if the standards for a special counsel are met."

So with Attorney General Jeff Sessions saying things may have "more innocent explanations" here are some specific questions for the AG to answer:

    • Did Peter Strzok innocently tell his mistress that there was an "insurance policy" against a Trump win, which likely referenced the Russia investigation which GOP lawmakers think was based on an unverified dossier?
    • Was Peter Strzok innocently texting Lisa Page "F Trump" while he was the lead investigator on the Clinton email case?
    • Was Peter Strzok's edit of the phrase "Gross negligence" to "extremely careless" innocent? It very innocently changed the entire legal standing of the case from criminal conduct to a layman's opinion of carelessness.

18 U.S. Code ' 793 "Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information" specifically uses the phrase "gross negligence." Had Comey used the phrase, he would have essentially declared that Hillary had broken the law.

    • Was Peter Strzok innocently calling Trump "a f*cking idiot" and a "loathsome human" before investigating him?
    • Did FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe's "damage control team" innocently change their conclusion that Hillary Clinton's server was "possibly" hacked, rather than "reasonably likely" - language which significantly altered the seriousness of Clinton's mishandling of classified information?
    • Were all references to the FBI working with other members of the intelligence community on Clinton's private server innocently scrubbed from Comey's exoneration statement - making it look like a much smaller investigation?
    • Before he was demoted for doing so - did senior DOJ official Bruce Ohr innocently meet with MI6 spy Christopher Steele who assembled the salacious 'Trump-Russia' dossier, and then also innocently meet with Glenn Simpson, co-founder of opposition research firm Fusion GPS? Fusion commissioned Steele to create the dossier, which relied on senior Russian officials.
    • Did Fusion GPS innocently hire Bruce Ohr's CIA wife, Nellie Ohr, to gather damaging information on President Trump? If there weren't such innocent explanations for everything, one might think Nellie Ohr could have possibly passed information from the DOJ to Fusion GPS and vice versa.
    • Did Hillary Clinton and the DNC innocently pay Fusion GPS $1,024,408 through law firm Perkins Coie, which then paid Steele $168,000?
    • In addition to the 'Trump-Russia' dossier, did Fusion GPS innocently arrange the Trump Tower "setup" meeting between Trump Jr. and a Russian Attorney? Or attempt to link Donald Trump to billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein? Or try to push the debunked claim that a secret email server existed between Trump Tower and Moscow's Alfa bank - which Alfa bank executives are suing Fusion GPS over?

The list goes on and on, but hey: sometimes things that might appear to be bad in the press have more innocent explanations...

Former FBI Assistant Director James Kallstrom called disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok a "total moron" who belongs in Leavenworth federal prison …

Kallstrom, a former Marine captain and Vietnam veteran, told FBN host Liz MacDonald that if an FBI agent wanted to stop someone from becoming President, "I think he can do what [Strzok] tried to do," adding "He can fabricate things, he can make stuff up, he can lie, he can be a total moron."

"You know, he [Strzok] belongs in Leavenworth this guy, in my personal view." …

Kallstrom's comments come after two weeks of stunning revelations about the FBI's top brass actively engaging in an effort to help then-candidate Hillary Clinton by "decriminalizing" her actions in the email case, while pursuing a case against then-candidate Donald Trump - using a discredited 34-page 'Trump-Russia' dossier to launch an investigation …

text messages sent between Peter Strzok … and his FBI-Attorney mistress Lisa Page emerged, GOP lawmakers honed in on a specific exchange in which Strzok references an "insurance policy" in the "unlikely event" Trump was elected President.

that "insurance policy" may have been the entire Russia investigation, cooked up using the Trump-Russia dossier provided by DNC-Clinton funded opposition research firm, Fusion GPS. Fusion has been linked to several attempts to undermine Trump - including hiring Nellie Ohr - the CIA wife of DOJ official Bruce Ohr, who was demoted for obfuscating his meetings with Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson. …

Kallstrom said he believes there is a "Fifth Column conspiracy" within the FBI designed to "destroy President Donald Trump" - and the agency may have committed a "serious felony" in doing so. …

“I’m coming more and more to the conclusion that this is a conspiratorial cabal among the fifth column to basically take away the presidency of the United States,” Kallstrom said, adding “This whole thing with Russia is just a farce. If we find out that that phony [Russian dossier] was brought to the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in the form of an affidavit for a judge’s authority, and if we find out that the people signing that affidavit in the bureau knew that that was phony information, that is a serious serious felony.
