    Any Idea What This Is?

Fiat for scale, but any idea? Seems to be an aluminum ball on a steel shaft.

and gold colored,, but no idea.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Its the most retarded piece of hardware I've ever seen.

Is it telescopic at all? Can you push that gray pin and move the steel shaft? Was the nut something you added or did you find it that way?

The steel shaft slides into another aluminum shaft the same width as the aluminum lip, but if there's a nut that aluminum shaft might not even threaded. It could even be meant to spin...

Interesting. I'd say the threaded end screws into a female thread and the the nut is tightened down to secure it. So, it is an attachment. You say that it is an aluminum ball. By this are you saying that it is hollow or just ball shaped? Is there a bore through the stem?

Looks to me like the ball that would go on the end of a flag pole.

And you almost won. I'd been googling but when I added outdoor it showed them on Amazon. It's apparently a flagpole topper. https://www.amazon.com/Flagpole-Orna...84CMRFJT0EPEVK
