1:48 to go , Ramblers up 64 - 60 over Nevada .
Nevada ball :41 seconds trail by 3 . Nevada hit a three in the last minute to stay in it .

Kansas St advances , beating KY by 3 . I imagine Villanova & Duke will also advance . Tomorrows pick would be Purdue - Texas Tech .
Kentucky needs a deep jump shooter that is consistent .
So , two 9 seeds and an 11 seed in . Kansas St and Loyola not a real surprise , but Fla St is .

And it looks like McCain had UCLA - which never made the field of 64 -
being the first team to go from a play-in game to the Final Four beating Villanova next.
Elite Eight so far includes a #3 Michigan, #11 Florida State (coming out from #1 Xavier/#2 North Carolina/#4 Gonzaga regional),
#9 Kansas State, #11 Loyola-Chicago,

So Michigan plays a 9 seed (FSU) and if they win they game they play the winner of a 9(KSU) vs 11(loyola) game to get into the championship game? That side of the bracket is ridiculously soft compared to the other side.

Okay, I looked it up. Connecticut was a 7 seed when the beat KY a few years ago. Villanova was an 8 when they knocked off Georgetown in 85. The number 11 seeds making it to the final four are VCU, George Mason, and LSU.

That VCU and George Mason Teams were better than an 11 from the start.

Kansas advances by outlasting the Clemson comeback , winning by 4 , Kansas up 13 at half .
Purdue held Texas Tech to 10 points in opening eight minutes . 11 minutes to half tied @ 15 .
Duke looks very athletic tonight. They seemed kind of fragile up until now.
