    Americans aged 18-34 most likely to oppose assault weapons ban, poll finds

    Opposition to an assault weapon ban was strongest among Republicans and among self-identified registered voters 18-34, the poll found. Unlike older Americans, millennials were closely divided on their support for an assault weapon ban, with 49% supporting and 44% opposing a ban.

    I am a bit older than 34 and believe in no bans . I should be able to just buy a machinegun or whatever if I choose . Shall not be infringed .

    62% of 18- 34 year olds supported more restrictions on guns.
    94% of them supported background checks.
    As reported in the OP- 49% supported banning the sale of "assault weapons" with 44% saying no to a ban.
    62% favored stricter regulations on ammo sales.
    69% supported a ban on modifications which can semi- automatic guns work like an automatic.
    57% said it was too easy to buy a gun in the US.
    54% said the country would be less safe if more people had guns.
    67% said Congress isn't doing enough.
    55% said they were not worried about any personal danger from guns.
    56% blamed mass shooting on health care issues- not on guns themselves.
    62% said mass shooters would find a way around gun laws anyways.

    All polls must be adjusted for media bias and what part of "Shall not be infringed" don't you understand?

    There was huge support for a return to banning the sale of assault weapons from voters over 50, with 70% support from over-50s and 77% support from over-65s...

    Until you get to the last three or so on that list it makes them appear mentally challenged . 1)There should be no more restrictions 2) Are there not already background checks ? 3) restricting ammo makes them sound retarded 4) Crazy 5) Crazy 6) Crazy 7) Congress should not be doing anything .
