Exclamation Why the Culture War matters

Normally, I wouldn't bother posting the mental peregrinations of this skank, but her comments make a very valid point as to why the "Culture War" is important, and should not be dismissed.

It has very real impacts on people's lives.

    This is the tl;dr version:

One of her producers has just been accused of sexual assault.

Her first response was to stand by this fellow and defend him, since they know each other.

The Hive then erupted in furious buzzing, and using her own words against her, beat her back to correct-think:

“Things women do lie about: what they ate for lunch. Things women don’t lie about: rape.”
She quickly backpedaled with a statement that included the following:

Under patriarchy, ‘I believe you’ is essential. Until we are all believed, none of us will be believed. We apologize to any women who have been disappointed.

Now, ask yourself: how many men have been released from prison, some from death row, after it became clear that they were innocent of rape/sexual assault charges that were leveled against them?

In the world of the Lena Dunhams of AmeriKa, justice, evidence, trials and facts do not matter.

To them, and the rest of SJWs of the new Bolshevik Left, the culture of equal justice and individual rights is one of white male oppression and must be eliminated.

To them, every woeman's story is to be believed, even if it's false, even it means an innocent man dies at the hand of the state.

This battle is much deeper than who decides who pisses in what toilet, that the "muh culkur" mockers of certain wings of libertarianism want you to think or believe.

Cultural perversity creates a rejection of ALL truth and ALL right ways of doing things, perversity is a virulent disease that does not limit itself to one subject at a time, it always ends in hell on earth no matter where it starts.

    Don't fall for this.
The state creates identity politics. The "culture" that is being protected here is the cult of the state. White men, white women, black men, black women, etc, are all railroaded. The sickening obeisance to the police state has created a culture mocking due process. Even here, a supposed home of liberty, folks are circling the wagons around the tribe (an interesting mixed metaphor).

The only culture war that exists is over the mixed economy everything else is divide and conquer politics. The culture that we should fight for to preserve is one of free markets, real capitalism, not the $#@! the left criticizes as capitalism but was created by leftist policies, not the crony capitalists the real American business culture that made America great We can't win this without fighting for our freedoms, our rights, because that's what they want to take away. We need to fight for rights they haven't taken from us yet, like freedom of thought, rights that were given to us by our creator that did not need to be listed because they didn't think they needed to list them. They never thought we would be so stupid.

The state creates Islamic terror as well.

That does not mean that Akmhed with an AK47 is not a threat, because he is.

I wonder if 'culture' is a mis-nomer. Ideology seems to be the biggest threat. Historically I suppose culture and ideology have gone hand-in-hand, but everything seems to be spilling over the edges these days.

    Possibly.

Whatever you want to call it, there is a distinct "culture" of limited government, individual rights, economic liberty and property rights.

This is now under attack as a racist, oppressive and "toxic" culture of male patriarchy, white supremacy and white privilege.

If any of us still care about those things, we had better engage and engage now, in the "culture war".
