Same story? I don't see the problem even though it is not a good comparison with the costume the person in the OP wore. I doubt kids would sit through reading Mein Kampf.

I don't think individuals tax dollars are relevant, the fact being this is taking place on a publicly funded facility designed for children within a specific age group and degree of maturity or immaturity.

And the story sucks, it is a blatant lie and is not okay. It is not okay for dogs to eat cat food and for cats to eat dog food. No, it is not okay to come in last, or to let people beat you down, or shoot you while you're unarmed at a concert, or for the government to conduct covert social experiments upon the masses.

This is true but he was also able to recruit a number of shills who reply to his posts as if something of significance was posted. I think he is gaming the system.

A Long Beach congressional candidate says he’s “outraged” after a drag queen sporting demon-like horns was invited to read to children at a local library. Omar Navarro, a Republican candidate looking to unseat Maxine Waters for the 43rd District, posted an image of performer Xochi Mochi reading to kids as part of the Drag Queen Story Hour at the Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library on Saturday.


Navarro’s tweet asked, “What are we teaching kids in school? Demonic teachings alive in Long Beach. I’m outraged they would allow this.” The image shows Mochi – clad in heavy makeup and sporting red-tipped horns on his head – in front of an audience of kids, some of whom also appeared to be in costume.


An official link for Drag Queen Story Hour did not describe it as a Halloween-themed event. Mochi later said it was one of his “best experiences…as a drag queen.” “It’s so important to have representation and normalize all the letters in LGBTQHB+ in everyday lives,” he wrote on an Instagram post. Other posts showed Mochi taking pictures in drag with a library staff member.

This is child abuse. How many of these kids will have nightmares for years after this?

That's a pretty good point. But it's also child abuse to teach kids about what will happen if they don't believe in Christianity/Islam/Judaism/whatever. I'm sure plenty of kids are scared to death when they hear about what goes on in the nonexistent "Hell." I know of someone who jumped out of a 2 or 3 story window when he was a kid because he was taught that kids don't go to hell. He wanted to avoid that place so bad that he would forego the remainder of his life. Maybe should ban childhood indoctrination into religion.
