Human life begins at conception–hence abortion is murder

COGwriter

World Net Daily had the following:

The Department of Health and Human Services has published a draft of a new strategic plan that states in its introduction that life begins at conception.

The personhood of the unborn child is central to the abortion debate — as even the justice who wrote the landmark Roe v. Wade opinion has acknowledged — because, if established in law, it would nullify a “right” to abortion.

The largely overlooked HHS strategic plan for 2018-22 states the agency “accomplishes its mission through programs and initiatives that cover a wide spectrum of activities, serving and protecting Americans at every stage of life, beginning at conception.”

Bioethics specialist Wesley J. Smith, a senior fellow at the Discovery Institute’s Center on Human Exceptionalism, wrote at National Review’s The Corner blog that while life “beginning at conception” is a “fact of basic biological science,” expect “the usual suspects to be furious about the proposal.” http://www.wnd.com/2017/10/trump-adm...kRJrDI7tMEb.99
The scientific fact is that human life begins at conception is something that that the abortion supporters do not want people to believe.

Yet it is true.

Since human life begins at conception, abortion is murder.

The pro-abortion people do not want people to believe that.

Instead they promote a lie that they want others to believe.

The position of abortionists brings to mind the following:

15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. (Revelation 22:15)
The murderous abortion industry loves and promotes sexual immorality and lies. Without repentance, those that do so will be outside of the coming Kingdom of God.

The Bible, itself, makes it clear that human life begins prior to birth. Since all fertilized human eggs are human, human life begins at the time of conception.

Knowing what happens at conception makes this clearer. Normally (unless there is Down syndrome or something that changes the number of chromosomes) 23 unpaired chromosomes from the egg and 23 unpaired chromosomes from the sperm come together and form a new entity with 46 chromosomes. This new entity is a new human life. It did not come into existence before conception and does not change genetically after conception. It is not a dog, a frog, or simply a pile of tissue. The unborn baby is a developing human being.

Interestingly, scientists have figured out that at conception, a flash of light occurs:

May 3, 2016 (LiveActionNews) — Abortion advocates often claim as a defense of abortion that no one can really, truly define the moment life begins. Without knowing that, they say, there’s no real argument against abortion. Consider, for example, Melissa Harris-Perry’s insistence that life begins “whenever you feel like it does.” Obama famously said that the question of when life begins was above his pay grade. While the science of embryology has long been settled, it’s still not good enough for abortion activists.

But a new scientific breakthrough might go a long way towards changing hearts and minds: scientists have been able to capture the moment life begins, with a bright flash of light as a new life is conceived…

Human life begins in bright flash of light as a sperm meets an egg, scientists have shown for the first time, after capturing the astonishing ‘fireworks’ on film.

An explosion of tiny sparks erupts from the egg at the exact moment of conception.

Scientists had seen the phenomenon occur in…animals but it is the first time is has been also shown to happen in humans.

Human life begins at conception.

The Bible shows, that unlike humans, God does know how babies grow in the womb:

5 As you do not know what is the way of the wind, Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, So you do not know the works of God who makes everything (Ecclesiastes 11:5, NKJV throughout except when otherwise noted).
Elizabeth made a positive comment about her unborn baby John the Baptist leaping (Luke 1:41-44) and the statements that the Angel that appeared to Mary to tell her about her upcoming conception (Luke 1:31-35) also provide additional biblical support to the idea that the unborn are human.

The Bible also makes it clear that David and Jeremiah were human and known before to God while they were in the womb prior to being born:

For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them (Psalm 139:13-16).

Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying:

5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations” (Jeremiah 1:4-5).
Notice also:

44 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, And He who formed you from the womb:”I am the Lord, who makes all things…'(Isaiah 44:24)
Furthermore, notice that the death penalty could come from an injury to a pregnant woman:

If men fight, and hurt a woman with child, so that she gives birth prematurely, yet no harm follows, he shall surely be punished accordingly as the woman’s husband imposes on him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. But if any harm follows, then you shall give life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, stripe for stripe (Exodus 21:22-25).
The expression “no harm follows” can be interpreted that both the mother and the baby live, and that the baby and mother are healthy. But, if they are not and somehow permanently harmed, punishment will follow, apparently including the death penalty if either die. God does not condone the killing of unborn infants.

In the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) a term translated about 26 times as infant(s) or child or little one is the Hebrew word ‘owlel. That same word is used for unborn infants in Job 3:16 (and perhaps other verses), hence God considers unborn infants to be living human beings–children.

The position of the DHHS under the Trump Administration relating to the start of human life is correct and is encouraging.

Although I have many issues with Donald Trump, promoting the view that human life begins at conception is something that the US government always should have done–yet prior to the Trump Administration, no other presidential administration in the USA seemed willing to do this.

So, this is some good news for the USA.
