Question Anyone care to see female leaders in the States

    Hi,

This is an open question about women in politics, would anyone here care much about seeing more governors? And the subject of a female head of state, and no not Mrs Clinton. But having read a few articles of course they focus mainly smaller states, with less powerful heads of state having been elected, and parliamentary democracy with female heads of government, I thought I'd post here, see what users here think.

Anybody really care much? If some silly men can get elected, it is pretty surprising why America is behind on this.

On the topic of the first female head of state, it is a tough question since, it all depends who could show up.

I can tell you this: If some fat, frugal grandma ever runs for office, you need to vote for her. Frugal women get it done, on time, and in budget.

No, we should not have women in office. Take a screenshot and send it to HuffPo: Women were meddlesome enough as wives of statesmen, before being given the reins personally.

Plato and Voltaire were fools, logic and reason are limited by our lack of omniscience, emotion, instinct and belief must guide us through the fog of war.

Not really stupid. Think of it as a warning. They are floating the balloons and setting the stage. The left wants gender wars, and it's all in preparation for leftist female candidates. A leftist just brought it to your attention.

    Related, from another thread:

Can't imagine they would do this purely in prep for Judge Moore, but there probably is a political motive. It's reminiscent of the pre-Hillary 2016 campaign gender wars they tried to gin up. No doubt they think they can take down more men with a witch hunt like this.

Kind of funny that Weinstein is a friend of Hillary. Hillary is not the woman they want to push though. They probably want to take her out of the running at this point. There is always Elizabeth Warren or Michelle Obama, but don't forget Kamala Harris. They have been pushing her hard.

Yeah, I have decided that if I ever run for office and win, I will have a receptionist who is not afraid to escort politicians and lobbyists out of the office. I will not be afraid to say, "Rep Pelosi, the people of the 5th district did not send me here to do anything like what you suggest. Let me show you out."

I am tired of leaders in the United States.
But I am more disappointed in the Followers.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Parliaments don't work with two parties.

Mary Fallin is neither the best nor the worst governor Oklahoma has ever had.

I don't know what makes you so arrogant about it. You'd still have a king if Elizabeth and Margaret had had a brother, and you bloody well know it.

No need, the White House already has plenty of staff to do the cooking and cleaning.

No, and I don't care to see male leaders either. I don't need a leader.

I don't know why they call them leaders. They are just folks who don't have any other abilitys, so they run for office.

A friend of mine told me that if women led all the countries, that there would never be any wars. As support for Hillary Clinton nonetheless. After laughing at how silly that was though, I do think that it brings up an interesting train of thought.

How do we ever end up with a Commander in Chief who doesn't want to use their power to promote war? The answer is pretty clearly not in gender (those women who rise to the top seem to love war just as much as the men), but also in the followers who vote for these people and ultimately have the power to control who rises to the top with their votes. Until people realize that a "strong leader" is not the solution, there is still a great problem. Look at all the people here (on Ron Paul Forums of all places) who supported the obvious authoritarian Trump who sold himself as a "strong leader". There may have not been any major candidates who valued liberty less on a fundamental level.
The enemy of my enemy may be worse than my enemy.

I do not suffer from Trump Rearrangement Syndrome. Sorry if that triggers you.

We DO need a "Strong Leader", one who is strong enough to stand up to the MIC, Dump was not that leader as his vows to fight ISIS made quite clear.

Ron Paul would have stood up to the MIC and did stand up to the MIC. He is strong but has no desire to "lead".

Unfortunately the sheeple demand a "Leader", I wanted Dr. Paul but I have learned that we need a leader type personality with the principles of Dr. Ron.
