I also wonder what kind of weapon and ammo he was using when he hit the tanks.

The guy wasn't sane, so there's no real point in trying to figure why he did / didn't do something.

OTOH, my first thought is that he may have been trying to create a Hollywood-style ending. One where Brad Pitt, playing him in the movie, would fire a single shot into a fuel tank, create an explosion that broke every window within an X mile radius, then confidently walk calmly out through the chaos with his back to the camera, never to be seen again.
    * Enforce Border Security – America should be guarding her own borders and enforcing her own laws instead of policing the world and implementing UN mandates.

    * No Amnesty - The Obama Administration’s endorsement of so-called “Comprehensive Immigration Reform,” granting amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants, will only encourage more law-breaking.

    * Abolish the Welfare State – Taxpayers cannot continue to pay the high costs to sustain this powerful incentive for illegal immigration. As Milton Friedman famously said, you can’t have open borders and a welfare state.

    * End Birthright Citizenship – As long as illegal immigrants know their children born here will be granted U.S. citizenship, we’ll never be able to control our immigration problem.

Either that, or the large-caliber, belt-fed weapon was fired that direction knowing full well nothing would happen and no 'assets' were in the area, so the sound would cover the three-shot bursts from the gunmen which multiple witnesses said were inside the venue, and which audio clearly indicate (and one video strongly suggests) were firing three-shot bursts.

But, of course, if the media ignores certain evidence, we should too. Just as we should believe WTC7 fell twenty minutes before it fell, because the BBC said it did.

Would a round really penetrate a steel tank at that range? It's close to half a mile.

Pause it at 1:53. Glocks aren't available with magazines that hang eight inches below their grips, that I know of.

And factor in the other audio in which three-shot bursts can clearly be heard going of concurrently with the heavy fire, and multiple eyewitness reports of multiple shooters. And audio evidence of ten seconds and more of continuous fire from someone the authorities allege had only magazines at his disposal?

Deny the stench all you want. This thing stinks.

We're being told repeatedly 2+2=3. When I see a more likely sum, I'm not inclined to turn my nose up at it.

    Default Brookings, George Soros

The Mandalay Hotel is owned by MGM Resorts International, whose chairman, James Murren, is a board member of… the Brookings Institution: https://littlesis.org/person/5288/James_J_Murren
Earlier I had found a link between the 22 March Westminster “terrorist attack” and Brookings: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthr...=1#post6464825

Last 10 September (or 11, depending on the time zone) in 5 posts in 47 minutes on 4Chan, some “John (Anonymous) ” warned about the “high incident project” “tomorrow” in Las Vegas involving “large groups” to “create more regulations, deleted but archived here: https://archive.4plebs.org/pol/thread/141096258
    28:12
it's called the "high incident project". they want to make the american public think that places with extremely high security aren't safe. they are trying to create more regulations.you will see laws proposed within the next few years to put up more metal detectors and other security devices. media and politicians will be saying places with lots of police need even more police. i can't guarantee anything will happen tomorrow but las vegas is on their minds.

    55:53
if their plan is successful state of nevada will pass a law in the future making all casinos have mandatory metal detectors and backscatter machines. soon after a federal law will be passed to put these machines in universities, high schools, federal buildings, you name it. osi systems and chertoff are the main producers of these machines. sometime around 2020 chertoff and osi will merge into a single company. after they merge the owners will sell off all their stock and make billions in profit. mr chertoff has been in contact with sheldon adelson. mr adelson will become a huge sponsor of these machines and he will be the first to put them in his casinos when the law passes. this is my last message for now. don't expect me to return anytime soon

Amongst others George Soros and Michael Chertoff profit from the naked body scanners used by the TSA. These scanners do cause some adverse reaction to the health, but nobody can understand why the rate of cancers keeps increasing…
Soros and Chertoff are profiting by way of the company Rapiscan, whose contract is worth $173 million. George Soros owned 11,300 shares of OSI Systems, Inc., the company that owns Rapiscan, after The Examiner reported that Soros owned the OSI Systems shares, he quickly sold his shares in the company.
Former Homeland Security secretary Michael Chertoff’s fingerprints are all over 9/11, which is another topic worth investigating: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthr...2-rifles-heard

It took the police 72 minutes after the first report of gunfire at 10.08 pm, before the SWAT teams burst into Stephen Paddock's room.
The Iraq veteran Chris Bethel, who was staying the Mandalay Bay and heard the shots, thinks that it took too long. Bethel said that he heard: “Changing weapons, changing calibers, you can hear the difference in the gunshots”. Police have credited Bethel with helping them locate the shooter.
At 10.24 pm, the cops had located the shooter, in room 135 on the 32nd floor. At 10.57 pm, cops had locked down the hallway, but had to wait another 24 minutes before the SWAT team arrived. It was less urgent than it seems, because in this period there were no shots fired from the hotel…
Only at 11.21 pm, the SWAT teams storm the room(s) that Stephen Paddock was firing from. Paddock fired through the door at the SWAT teams, but when they entered the room, he had already killed himself: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4945322/Vet-wants-know-cops-took-long-stop-shooter.html

These security guards weren’t hired to start a panick, were they: “get down, they are shooting! ”, “Now RUN!”?
Towards the end, there is a victim with a convincing wound and blood.

Surely the FBI can be expected to do an investigation just as thorouh like they did on 9/11…

M855 ball ammunition (currently less than $400 per 1000 rounds) was designed to penetrate steel helmets at 400 meters. The tanks appear to be about 600 meters from the 32nd floor. Can't say about the steel of the tanks, but at 100 meters, M855 ball left half inch holes in 3/8 inch steel plate. I assume the tanks would hold JP-4 or JP-8 and if so, rifle rounds are not certain to cause an explosion - that is Hollywood propaganda.

A large chunk of CEO pay is in stock options. They get to buy shares at a low price with the option to sell them at market price before a certain date. In April he was granted $7.4 million worth of MGM stock. If you don't exercise the options in time, you lose them. I can't confirm right now but these were probably stock options he was exercising.

Las Vegas killer had more explosives, 1,600 rounds of ammo in car

Stephen Paddock didn't just have 23 weapons in his Mandalay Bay hotel suite, which he turned into a sniper's nest to kill 58 Las Vegas concertgoers.

He also had more than 50 pounds of explosives and 1,600 rounds of ammunition in his car in the hotel parking lot, police said.

And just happened to sell almost all of his holdings in a span of 2 months before one of his biggest destinations became the scene of the 'biggest mass shooting in US history'. Yep, move along, nothing to see here. If anyone cares enough to dig into it, look to see if other MGM execs and board members dumped shares recently too. Maybe check options action to see if any large shorts placed on MGM recently too.

It hasn't dropped much since the attack, and it's been volatile anyway.

On its face, I don't see anything suspicious in the CEO selling shares over the last couple months.
