Default The Formation of a Country is Libertarian

The problem I have with libertarians is that the formation of America, as with most countries, was libertarian. If anyone who immigrated here does not like the culture that was established, its institutions, form of government, or anything else about America, they are free to leave. And this too is a libertarian principle.

In a pure anarcho-capitalist world without governments, libertarians in theory, would not object to a group of Germans voluntarily choosing to live in an area they own collectively, and run on any political philosophy they choose, be it libertarian, or National Socialism. The key feature is that people are free to leave that group/nation. Hitler's Germany was libertarian in the sense that he did not force anyone to stay. Yes it wasn't run on libertarian principles, but they people understood that and chose to live that way.

Any act of influencing people in a America to destabilize its founding principles, and culture is subversion. It is done solely to destabilize a nations people, government, and culture.

I am a strong believer in Ron Paul and many of the libertarian principles. I think most libertarians take a individualistic worldview too far sometime. Especially in the west, we do have libertarianism. People should be promoting a return to the constitution, to the pre 1945 foreign policy, and pre 1913 economic policy.

"love it or leave it" isn't libertarian, FYI. It's nationalist. Libertarianism isn't nationalist-it's radical individulaist.

Yes, ultimately libertarianism is anarcho-capitalism, but in theory you won't tell people they can't voluntarily form into groups and develop a distinct culture. Voluntary is the fundamental component in libertarianism. If people voluntarily choose a culture of National Socialism, that is practicing libertarian philosophy. If people choose to voluntarily form a nation based of National Socialism, that is there choice. Its is tyrannical for you to tell them they can't.

The reality is, Libertarian policy of freedom is a dreamer's paradise.

What Americans need, is a dose of lock and loaded government, with the policies of the New Deal. That is the way to some sort of a decent society, not third world cess pool places that are so common, what a wealthy country. It is just terrible!

Welcome Sir, you will find this place inhabited by many vocal Anarchists who object to being called what they are, however there are many of us here who recognize that the Nation state is unavoidable and has it's proper place in life.

America is the one place left on earth where freedom and liberty still have roots in the culture and we have a chance of creating a society that embraces it, we must get immigration under control or that chance will be extinguished, the secession of Demoncrat areas like CALExit is also needed.

If that is what they all choose, then you are right. As soon as they come for my money or property, it would be without my consent, at which point is no longer libertarian.

The programs of the New Deal are not only all still in existence but have been greatly expanded upon.

At the height of the New Deal the Federal government not only spent MUCH MUCH MUCH less per person in inflation adjusted dollars, they also spent 60% less as a share of an already depressed GDP in the Depression. The federal gov't spent 10% of GDP compared to the low 20's today. Government has grown dramatically. The United States is closer to socialism than capitalism at this point. A good starting point would be to cut government by 30% immediately and then figure out how to cut more after that.
