Default Why is the dollar crisis not a major issue?

No other candidates are willing to touch monetary policy with a 10 foot pole. I really feel Ron Paul and his supporters are so much more educated on this issue. We all know here that there is not one other candidate out there that if elected President that will address the issue of the debt. Is there any way we can make this a hot-button issue?

Honestly, any person seriously concerned about the debt would just have to vote for Ron Paul? am I wrong?

It is one of the most critical issues of today. It has to be packaged in a way that a layperson can understand it. Tough to do with one minute time limitations in a debate.

Because if they don't talk about it, it doesn't exist! And pretty much everyone but Ron Paul is responsible for it.
"Anarchists oppose the State because it has its very being in such aggression, namely, the expropriation of private property through taxation, the coercive exclusion of other providers of defense service from its territory, and all of the other depredations and coercions that are built upon these twin foci of invasions of individual rights." -Murray Rothbard

this is the answer I expected. It's sad that so many people out there really have no clue how weak the dollar actually is. it really should be the most important issue out there, because it is tied to pretty much every other issue.

I love the House of Cards video.

It's hard. You need a whole re-education of the whole public. I mean most people don't even know what the federal reserve is. Then try explaining to them money supply and the effects of borrowing and interest rates? I think Ross Perot was effective in letting people know about the problems of a huge deficit, but he was able to have infomercials, with lots of time to explain. Short of that, it'd be really hard.
