With only 73 yards offense in the half, Clemson is lucky to be within a touchdown (Alabama had 182). This one more a defensive battle.

Here's what I think: Saban is a really good coach, but if you watch Alabama over time, they work more from a place of brawn than anything else. They don't have a remarkable quarterback, and there is a lot about their game that is really rough around the edges. Georgia is more refined, and while Jake Fromm is just 18 years old, he is delivering for them.

Time of possession is a little surprising. We haven't really seen Hurts on the field much.

I like this little freshman for Alabama. Saban will be kicking himself all the way home for not working more with Tagovailoa. The connection is he went to the same high school as Marcus Mariota.

Alabama not showing a lot of creativity. I think this is when you know the student is not always the student. Smart took over at GA last year and took what he knew and let his imagination run wild. It is so interesting to see how he put the pieces together.
