Wall Street Journal Editorial Writer, Dies at 34

Joseph Rago, a Pulitzer Prize winning editorial writer at The Wall Street Journal who was known for his richly reported pieces and influence on policy makers, was found dead Thursday evening at his home in Manhattan. He was 34 years old.
The New York Police Department found Mr. Rago dead in his apartment at 7:40 p.m., according to a police official. The authorities went to check on Mr. Rago after he didn’t show up for work on Thursday. Paul Gigot, the editor of the Journal’s editorial page, had alerted the paper’s security officials, who then contacted the police.
Mr. Rago was found with no obvious signs of trauma and emergency responders declared him dead at the scene, the police said. The cause of death was being determined by the medical examiner on Friday

Trump's body count grows. Can't criticize the Prez. He warned media to back off.

Rago’s last editorial, a criticism of Republicans’ failure to repeal ‘Obamacare’ and replace it with a better plan, ran Wednesday.

LOL. The cause of death hasn't even been given and the body's still warm, but you are already at the helm with your desperate spins.

Okay I'll bite; what "body count" is that?

The real Zippy was never this aggressive. He was rather meek and subdued. Do you still have somebody like that?

Are people here supposed to believe that ACA-opposers become violent because of someone's words and not actions? Sorry, that is the department of your progressive friends.

Uh,perhaps in your hurry to create a $#@!storm you didn't notice that @WSJ is not on that list. And if you had bothered to read the article, he considered it to be a reason to oust sitting GOPers in the upcoming primary season.

    So just settle down.

Just poking fun at the Clinton Body Count posts. Seems that almost anybody who dies was killed by her.

I heard SNL is looking for a new writer. You'll fit right in. They aren't funny either.

Except that is a legitimate use of force. Throwing tomatoes at people is not okay.

I found this comment on ZeroHedge: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-0...irac-was-worse

no explanation so far why the WSJ called the New York Police Department on Thursday when the mysteriously dead WSJ writer Joseph Rago did not show up for work. Paging Hillary Clinton, who nominated Rago for the Clinton Prize, always given posthumously. I wonder if the police "wellness" visit at 7:40 p.m. to check on Rago was the normal operating procedure. Talking about Apple devices, no mention of any phone calls the WSJ made to Rago while he was incommunicado. His death will probably be called an unfortunate drug death. Like the death planned for Liam Neeson's fictional character in the movie "Unknown". Or the actual deaths of the two SEALs on the Maersk Alabama, who coincidentally were security guards at the finish line of the 2013 Boston Marathon. Health food addicts whose death is blamed on drugs or respiratory failure - take your pick. http://edition.cnn.com/2014/04/29/wo...ths/index.html http://beforeitsnews.com/alternative...s-2906646.html
