This would be the most devastating war for the United States since at least Vietnam.
Any bombastic warhawk who tells you otherwise should plan on sending their own kids and not mine.
I honestly don't think America will attack Iran as Iran has so many options in which to respond.
Hezbollah could launch massive land, sea and air attacks on Israel.
Hamas and PIJ could launch massive attacks against Ashdod and Tel Aviv.
Iran backed forces in syria could attack Israel in the Golan heights.
The Shia militia in Iraq could attack US bases in Iraq and overrun the so called green zone.
The Houthis could unleash massive ballistic missile and drone attacks on Saudi Arabia and UAE.
The PMF could launch cross border attacks into Saudi Arabia from Iraq.
Shia Afghan fighters who fought for Assad in Syria could launch massive attacks on main US base in Afghanistan.
Iran could easily destroy the Saudi and UAE oilfields with its vast ballistic missile arsenal and destroy the global economy as a result.

Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei ruled out on Tuesday war erupting with the United States in wake of mounting tensions with Tehran over its nuclear capabilities and missile program.
“There won’t be any war. The Iranian nation has chosen the path of resistance,” Khamenei was cited as saying by the state media.
“We don’t seek a war, and they don’t either. They know it’s not in their interests.”

Earlier in the day, the US State Department ordered that all American government officials not dealing with emergencies leave Iraq, the US Embassy in Baghdad said in a statement.
Germany is suspending its participation in the Iraqi military training programme due to heightened tensions in the region, Deutsche Presse-Agentur GmbH (DPA) reported citing military sources.

The United States has publicly rebuked a senior British general who challenged claims that Iranian-backed groups are preparing to mount attacks against Western assets in the Middle East.
The extraordinary move came after Major General Chris Ghika, the deputy commander of Operation Inherent Resolve, the US-led coalition against Islamic State, said that there was no increased threat from pro-Iranian groups in Iraq and Syria.
Hours later the US military disowned the British general's comments and directly contradicted him.
US Central Command, which is responsible for US military operations in the Middle East, claimed both US forces and their allies - including the mission Maj Gen Ghika is deputy commander of - are aware of and have responded to the threat.
"Recent comments from OIR's Deputy Commander run counter to identified credible threats available to intelligence from US and allies regarding Iranian-backed forces in the region," said Captain Bill Urban in a statement.
"US Central Command, in coordination with Operation Inherent Resolve, has increased the force posture level for all service members assigned to OIR in Iraq and Syria. As a result, OIR is now at a high level of alert as we continue to closely monitor credible and possibly imminent threats to US forces in Iraq."

Riyadh submits letter to UN Security Council denouncing Iran and Houthis
Saudi Arabia submitted on Wednesday a letter to the United Nations Security Council, in which it held Iran and the Yemeni Houthi group responsible for targeting their oil facilities on Tuesday.
The letter was handed over by the Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations, Abdallah Al-Mouallimi, according to Saudi TV channel Al Arabiya.
The letter included “Saudi Arabia’s holding of Iran and the Houthi militias it supports fully responsible for Tuesday’s attack on the kingdom’s oil facilities.”
According to the same source, a joint message was sent from Saudi Arabia and the UAE to the UN Security Council and UN Secretary-General António Guterres, on the attack and sabotage operation that occurred last Sunday against four ships in the international sea off the UAE’s territorial sea and coasts.
On Tuesday, Saudi Arabia announced that bombed drones attacked two oil-pumping stations from the Eastern Province fields to Yanbu Commercial Port on the western coast by the Houthi group.
The attack came hours after the Houthis announced the launch of seven drones, and the carrying out of attacks on vital Saudi facilities, according to the group’s TV channel Al Masirah.
On Monday, Riyadh announced that two Saudi carriers had been hit by a sabotage attack on their way to cross the Persian Gulf near the UAE’s territorial sea.
Riyadh’s announcement came after the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement, in which it said that four merchant ships of several nationalities (not identified), were subjected to sabotage operations near the territorial sea on the way to the Port of Fujairah.

A tanker carrying Iranian fuel oil has reached its destination at a Chinese port and has unloaded its cargo in storage tanks, Reuters reports, citing shipping data. The shipment violates U.S. sanctions against Iran after Washington removed sanction waivers for eight importers of Iranian crude and oil products including China.
The unloading of the cargo—130,000 tons of fuel oil—was confirmed to Reuters by an official from the oil storage terminal in Zhoushan. Another official, however, denied the cargo came from Iran since the Zhoushan terminal had not received Iranian oil for four years.
Reuters notes, however, that Iranian exporters have been using things like ship-to-ship transfer of the cargo offshore and forged documents saying the cargoes were Iraqi oil to evade sanctions since November 2018. The tanker that docked at Zhoushan was one of those sailing with forged documents, Reuters said.
