Four Major Famines - Unintended Consequences Of US Foreign Policy

The UN has identified four countries where major famines are underway: Nigeria, Somalia, South Sudan, and Yemen. What do these four countries have in common? Years of US foreign interventionism.

A good quote from Strategic-Culture sums up Washington foreign policy:

"The underlying rule guiding US policy makers is that if a country cannot be controlled, such as with a Saudi-style regime serving only American interests through something like the petrodollar, than that country is useless and ought to be destroyed in order to stop other peer competitors from expanding their ties with that country. The Libyan example is still fresh in everyone's minds."
"Let it not be said that we did nothing." - Dr. Ron Paul. "Stand up for what you believe in, even if you are standing alone." - Sophie Magdalena Scholl
"War is the health of the State." - Randolph Bourne "Freedom is the answer. ... Now, what's the question?" - Ernie Hancock.
