With very graphic lynching video out of India and ruling party ( its current leader had been accused of genocide earlier) allowing such violence to continue, does it make sense for Ivanka Trump to accept inivitation from genocide suspect Modi especially if this trip is going to be taxpayers funded?

I would concede that I have not been watching the media, culture and such developments there until very recently and this got into focus after seeing a recent thread in WN&A / Modi attending US taxpayers funded events this week in US. Also realize that news searching does not make one well versed on a topic.

That said, there is usually fire when there is so much smoke. Will try to explore this more in depth to validate that assertions being made here have basis.

You got a compelling point there.
Though that headline is from 2016 and of late there seems to be transformation of this guy from a 'villain' to 'celeberity' of sort tracking the news headlines of recent past. If negative headlines in US MSM lately are being spiked by media owners, that might be worth examining why MSM has changed its tune. Going to look more into this and track this story further as media neocons headlines on this topic are showing an interesting reversal trajectory. English news of local press seems to have lot of coverage on this topic and drawing broad condemnations including from famous Gandhi clan.
