The Powerline was a contemporary music show with a churchy message between songs.
Brother John would dispense advice and read letters, if I remember correctly.
Kind of like a really hip Reverend Tim-Tom or Pastor Dave running a music show.
Seems like it may have been on AFN back in the day .

I think you are correct.
Not a bad show from what I remember, but I find promotion of most popular music to be incongruent with credible Christianity.
But I overthink some things.
