    Good Riddance!

Supreme Court limits rights of property owners

The justices, in the 5-3 ruling written by conservative Justice Anthony Kennedy and joined by the court's four liberals, upheld the use of zoning regulations by Wisconsin to prevent members of the Murr family from selling the vacant lot because the four siblings also owned an adjoining parcel of land.

    I couldn't agree more.

The U.S. Supreme Court is above the law as of right now. Ever since Marbury v. Madison, the Federal Courts have the absolute power to interpret or misinterpret the law and our Constitution whatever way they please. The Federal Courts are too much out of control.

Why everything needs to be interpreted? What happened to common sense?

If Trump gets to replace Anthony Kennedy and he puts someone remotely close to Gorsuch, this will be a very successful Presidency. This is great news. The only thing that could top it would be Ruth Bader Ginsburg leaving.

Maybe this is an opportunity to reign them in again. Far fetched and fanciful I know, hope springs eternal.

Just guessing Trump will come right back with a name. You have to admit his first pick was a really good one.

If Kennedy retires, Donald Trump's legacy is set

Analysis by Chris Cillizza, CNN Editor-at-large
Updated 9:21 AM ET, Mon June 26, 2017

(CNN)The final week of the Supreme Court session opens Monday, and with it comes rampant speculation that Justice Anthony Kennedy may call it quits.

If Kennedy does announce his retirement, it would almost certainly ensure not only a clear rightward swing in the Court but would also cement a major part of Donald Trump's legacy barely five months into his first term.

It would seem Kennedy is sticking around a while longer.
