New Survey shows that Global Population Overwhelmingly Rejects Freedom and Self Determination

Freedom is too messy. Thought consumes too much energy. Leave the thinking to the benevolent supranational organizations.

A major new survey has found that the vast majority of people all over the planet are ready to embrace a global government in the hope that it will save humanity from catastrophe and major threat.

The survey, carried out by ComRes on behalf of the Stockholm based group Global Challenges Foundation found that on average, close to three quarters (71%) of the general public wish to see the creation of a new “supranational organisation to make enforceable global decisions” about major threats to humanity.

As long as their views are forced on others not the other way around. The closer world government gets, the sooner major wars will start.

Yeah, seems it's been drummed into them so long, they now have Stockholm syndrome.

    Freedom is not popular.

Now, can we please stop importing people like that?

The survey collated information from 8,100 people in eight countries, encompassing half the world’s population. Those countries were Australia, Brazil, China, Germany, India, South Africa, the UK and US.
It found that support for a “supranational organisation” was high across the board, with the most support coming from India (84 per cent), China (78 per cent) and South Africa (76 per cent).
In the US, 67 per cent said they supported the creation of a world governing body to deal with threats. The lowest support was measured in Germany, yet the figure was still a resounding majority at 62 per cent.
Over 60% in every country said they considered themselves a ‘global citizen’. In the US the figure was 67%.

Time is on their side. They will win if the status quo continues. The lone wildcard is chaos, which could blow a huge hole into this fragile system they built.

I hear ya- and I agree.... BUT I'm willing to bet you'd get similar numbers right here in the U.S.

Face it, we're doomed. Out of the ashes and rubble will rise a new nation, perhaps one that values freedom, and in no time it'll be right back in the $#@!...

    Nothing new under the sun.

"The lowest support was measured in Germany" - ok that's funny. Maybe their translated question sounded more ominous than in other languages.

Yeah, I was expecting Germany to be one of the most supportive.

I am so very aware of that, to the point it hurts.

That's why I made that comment.

Look at what just happened in the UK, one bomb goes off and overnight the nation locks down like a prison. Which is, of course, the reaction any "terrorist" wants: a couple of bucks worth of homemade bomb making material, the will required to use it, and you've now turned an entire first world nation upside down. "They" know that this is not the Britain that survived Hitler's Blitzkrieg nor even the Britain that survived decades of Soviet (and US) sponsored IRA bombings.

The British people are weak, soft, have no national will or purpose, and most importantly, value safety and security a thousandfold over freedom and liberty.

Here in the US, Amerikunts are just as bad, if not worse.

The enemies of the citizens here, foreign and domestic, government sponsored and "organic", understand this fully.

Freedom will not survive such a hostile climate, hated by both the native population and the waves of immigrants from legal and illegal sources.

Bring the troops home, withdraw from the wars, defend the nation, shut down immigration from all sources and lets see if maybe, just maybe, we can get our $#@! back together.

Fail to do that and yeah, we are doomed.

Poor, uneducated people have a harder time identifying the scam than Boobus. They rashly make decisions from the perspective of minutes as opposed to years. Just look at the 85+ percentile number in India. I'm reminded of the lyrics of a particular song.

Remember that in Greece after the debt crisis, these self-avowed socialists started destroying toll machines. So there is a small glint of hope. Once the allure of a seemingly omnipotent govt breaks down, it becomes extremely vulnerable to external forces.
