Here's some pretty good (at least half-way decent) applications of the technology. The goals and concepts, especially, are very good and important to understand. The implementation... enh, I've been spoiled by Urbit.

But if you've tried and failed to understand Urbit in the past, maybe the Blockstack guy will be able to explain the concept in a way that "clicks" for you. They're trying to do the same thing, at least on the top end (though in an 1000x less ambitious way).
