Is There a Coup Attempt Underway?

    http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2017/...tml#more-67631

Personally, I’m horrified by the fact that Goldman Sachs goons are in total control of the Trump administration’s economic policy. I’m also horrified that our new President’s first overseas trip will be to the terrorist state of Saudi Arabia, a autocratic, brutal monarchy with undeniable ties to 9/11. I’m likewise disgusted by Attorney General Jefferson Sessions’ oppressive and uncivilized relaunch of the misguided and disastrous “war on drugs.” Finally, I’m very troubled by the fact Mike Flynn attempted to disrupt a military operation using Syrian Kurds to rout ISIS in Raqqa because Turkey didn’t like it, given he was working as a paid agent of Turkey months earlier and never disclosed it.

There are a plethora of things to be deeply concerned about when it comes to Trump, yet the coup attempt against him being launched by elements of the deep state, corporate media and Hillary dead-ender Democrats is more concerning still. It’s obvious what’s happening right now is not a sincere attempt to hold a President accountable, or fight him on policy or personnel choices. Rather, this all seems to be a very deliberate and premeditated attempt to remove him from office.

What’s so troubling about what I just wrote is not so much that I think it, but that it’s becoming accepted truth by a growing number of mainstream Americans. For example, can you believe CNBC actually published a post with the following title?

Here are a few excerpts from the piece:

There is, indeed, a bombshell of a story coming out of the news that President Donald Trump revealed sensitive information during his White House meeting with Russian officials last week. But it’s not that President Trump committed any crime. The really alarming news is that the duly-elected President of the United States appears to be the target of a political coup.

First, let’s be clear: President Trump has been sloppy, arrogant, and just plain misguided plenty of times during his short tenure in office — including the way he handled the firing of FBI Director James Comey and the hiring and firing of National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. And if he did unnecessarily compromise the source of the sensitive information he shared with the Russians, shame on him.

But a president cannot be removed from office for arrogance and sloppiness…

Here’s the kicker: None of this is actually working where it counts. Again, we have not one piece of evidence of any impeachable act. And it’s not even truly working in the polls. President Trump’s approval ratings may be lower than any modern president this early in his tenure, but they’re still higher than they were throughout the election. If anything, these constant attacks coming from this obviously angry and potentially illegal place are only strengthening the resolve of Trump’s base of supporters. They elected a guy they believed was truly the enemy of the established political class. And right on cue, the established political class is stopping at nothing to prove them right.

For all the things President Trump has said that have dragged down the level of our American political discourse, this sustained takedown effort is worse. And it’s not clear how this is going to end. Unlike President Trump, the leakers remain anonymous and thus unaccountable. They can presumably go on forever. And President Trump doesn’t seem like he’s going to stop fighting back or irritating and threatening his political opponents.

But don’t fool yourself into thinking this is OK or even tolerable. The bottom line is that we have some very powerful people in Washington who really don’t like how democracy played out this time around and what they do to attack it next isn’t going to be any better than what they’re doing now.

Luckily the American people remain wisely circumspect about all of this. President Trump’s polls aside, the voters are still giving him a decent shot to govern. And unaccountable people in Washington shouldn’t be trying to make that decision for us.

Is there a coup attempt underway?
A coup by banks and the MIC against...banks and the MIC?

    No, there's no coup.

What's happening is that the party out of power is attacking the party in power, with anything they can think of, rational or not.

    i.e. normality

The only thing unique about the present situation is that Trump is an especially easy target.

...and that Trump draws an unusual (and generally warranted) amount of flak from his own party, as well as from the other.

I bet the Russians are behind it. They're trying to destabilize this country, first by manipulating the election to get Trump in office, and now to organize a coup to throw him out.

Or the Russian deep-state is behind it.

Trump has a good relationship with Putin, but that's not to say that Russian deep-state didn't hack this meeting to undermine both Putin and Trump

Dennis Kucinich thinks something is awry.

"There is a high B.S. Quotient here. ...

"If this information was so sensitive, then why did intel leak it to the Washington Post? Whoever leaked it undermined the alliance. ...

…something is out of control here. There is an effort here to up end the relationship with Russia. Put us at odds. It started during the Obama administration in October of 2016 when it was a peace agreement or an agreement to end the conflict with Syria and all of a sudden it was up ended by people in the pentagon and CIA so they were making policy over the president’s head. We have one president and he is being undermined by some people in intelligence. ...

"First of all, I read the Washington Post story very carefully. And more than that, I spent 16 years in the United States Congress tracking all these things said about foreign policy. There is a high B.S. Quotient here. And the meter should be going off all over town. Ya know we don’t need to look to Russia for any affirmation here. We need to ask questions about why is this intelligence community trying to upend the President of the United States with these leaks? Here’s the Washington Post story (holds up physical copy of the newspaper) I mean its, and all over town people are saying the President did this and that — look, I disagree with President Trump on a number of issues, but on this one, there can only be one President and somebody in the intelligence community is trying to upend this President in order to pursue a policy direction that puts us in conflict with Russia. The question is why? and who? and we need to find out."

AntiWar has a great article on this today, also reprinted at Ron Paul Institute:

Donald Trump ran on a platform of improving relations with Russia: his victory was a mandate for that policy. … After months of leaks coming from the intelligence agencies, who bitterly oppose the new policy, and a barrage of innuendo, smears, and character assassination in the media, the will of the people has been abrogated: the Deep State has the last word. …

Their goal is to not only make détente with Russia impossible … but also to overthrow a democratically elected chief executive …

No matter what you think of Trump, this is an ominous development for all those who care about the future of our republic. Because the warning to our politicians could not be clearer: So you want to effect a fundamental change in US foreign policy? You dare to question the permanence of NATO? Let this be a lesson to you.

This goes way beyond the Trump administration: the potential targets of the investigation are potentially unlimited. … Mueller has virtually unlimited power to expand his investigation, and, given the history of Special Counsels, you can be sure that this one will wander far afield and become a general probe into “Russian influence” …

Any politician, especially one who supported Trump, who advocates peaceful and productive relations with Russia is a likely target. The War Party has already got Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-California) in its sights for his fearless questioning of the anti-Russian propaganda campaign. ..
any media outlets that either supported Trump, had a good word to say about Trump, and/or dissented from the Russophobic hysteria that has gripped the “mainstream” media are liable to be scrutinized. Journalists with “Russian ties” – no matter how tenuous – will be caught up in the witch-hunt. The Washington Post gave front page prominence to a group of anonymous “researchers” that calls itself “PropOrNot,” which has compiled a lengthy list of “pro-Russian” media outlets and web sites – including the Drudge Report, and Antiwar.com. …

Politicians, journalists, academics, and even ordinary folks will be targeted by the government in the hunt for “Putin’s puppets.”
We haven’t seen this kind of thing since the 1950s. … What we are witnessing is a “regime-change” operation, such as our intelligence agencies have routinely carried out abroad, right here in the United States. Yet it is more – and worse – than that.

This pernicious campaign is an attempt to criminalize dissent from the foreign policy “consensus.” … to stamp out any opposition to their program of perpetual war. It is, in effect, political terrorism … universal surveillance, and the whole menu of cyber-spying techniques exposed by Edward Snowden and WikiLeaks – will be deployed. …

The reign of terror is about to begin: anyone who opposes our interventionist foreign policy is liable to be labeled a “Kremlin tool” – and could face legal sanctions. Because you can be sure that ancillary efforts, apart from the office of the Special Counsel, are already in motion to make sure dissent is muzzled. … the phony campaign against “fake news” is already well-advanced, along with legislative efforts to fund a “push back” campaign against “Russia propaganda.” …

    ^^^THIS!

In some other thread I brought up the Ukraine connection in this coup. It is Ukraine, not Russia, interfering in US domestic politics and it was Ukrainians behind that idiotic "PropOrNot" site. As soon as the Washington Compost ran that absurd article I KNEW it was Ukies behind it because I recognized their stench from spending 15 months following the US engineered coup and subsequent war. It wasn't until a few days later that my senses were proven right when the PropOrNot freaks tweeted out some crazy Ukie slogan and gave themselves away.

Clinton is all up with the Ukienazis. Chelsea has made trips to visit with Victor Pinchuk, a Ukrainian oligarch. Ukies did opposition research for HRC, trying to come up Trump/Russia dirt. Though I didn't read it, I'm sure they were responsible for the Manafort/Yanukovich nothing burger.

In the neocon/neolib war on Russia, which includes NATO and those Raimondo mentioned, Ukrainians are key players due to being on Russia's border and due the fact that their hate for anything Russia goes beyond what most sane people could imagine the word hate means. They are very useful partners to the traitors in our own government.

Just last night I read the biggest pile of steaming $#@! propaganda I've ever seen. I don't ordinarily even click on any WaPo urls but was doing some digging. This piece hits all the marks for super skilled propaganda because it inserts many lies and agendas, not having to do with the title of the article and affirms their being "true" or "confirmed". I'm convinced the writer is a Mossad or some other Israeli covert org operative. Do read it to see how outrageous these liars are. Anyway, notice the location from where the article was filed!

Agreed and while that doesn't go along with "drain the swamp", it comes as no surprise since Trump had made some comment about wanting someone wearing a yarlmuke handling his money. I guess he thinks all things money and finance are the realm of the Jews (Synagogue of Satan). Unfortunately, he's mostly right. Yeah, I think so.

But even The State has turned into a bunch of Nancies.

They shot Kennedy and Reagan for daring to oppose them.

Putin kicked the Rothschild banks out of Russia. He's all in, meaning that he has no qualms about a total first strike, if it ever comes to that.

there will be no need for nuclear weapons. If Putin wills it, he can make America nuke itself, and its own allies.
The dialectic is still in play.
Even if Putin believes Trump is a nice guy, and willing to play nice with russia, that doesn't mean Putin suddenly misunderstood the CIA and deep state. Nor does it mean he thought that somehow 8 years of trump would reverse the American hegemonic drive for world domination. He would never abandon all he set up because of a silly American election.
