Thread: My views have changed

    My views have changed

The more think about it, the more I'm in agreement with the views of the anti-federalists prior to ratification.

I tried, though. I really, really tried. Our Republic could be a wonderful thing if it could work. But it just can't work. And I know history and the nature of Man well enough to know why. Our nation has become a modern day Babylon. And most certainly by design.

My principles won't change. Nor will my faith in God.

But I'm just not gonna try to sell that anymore.

I still agree with the principles, but for one, our country grew too large for this to work.

I am for secession. Bring it on.

Under an anti federalist central government, the states would have had much more latitude to deal with issues that concern them.
