Trump tried to cut a deal with dems, fund Obamacare AND stupid wall

I didn't see this posted by anyone else so.....

Seriously folks, this is what you get when you substitute nationalist populism for actual libertarian principles. Government just gets biggerer and biggerer. Both Obamacare and the border wall are anti liberty big government boondoggles. And I'm not talking about liberty of foreign nationals. I'm talking about liberty of U.S. citizens. There is a constitution free zone along our borders already. A wall will only make it worse. The current wall (yes part of it was already built) infringes on the private property rights of U.S. citizens who's property was seized to build the stupid thing. It cuts their land in half! Watch this:

    and this:

Alex Jones once warned that we are becoming a "Prison Planet." Well in his support of the border wall he's helping build a part of Prison USA! Ron Paul warned that this wall could be used to keep Americans in in the case of an economic collapse.

So, it's a simple question. Who do you trust? Alex Jones and Donald Trump? Or Ron Paul?

Back in February Trump said the wall was already "way, way ahead of schedule." How is progress going on that?

"We're building the wall," he said. "In fact it's going to start very soon. Way ahead of schedule. It's way, way, way ahead of schedule."
His comments come a day after Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly met their Mexican counterparts in Mexico City.

In January, he said it would begin "in months." http://www.businessinsider.com/trump...er-wall-2017-1

When Muir asked whether that meant construction would start within months, Trump said, "I would say in months, yeah."

Three months later he is still saying "soon" while Congress has not authorized a dime to spend on it. http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/tr...rticle/2621246

President Trump said Tuesday that construction on the border wall would begin "soon" and confirmed that he planned to build the wall during his first term.

"We're already preparing. We're doing plans, we're doing specifications, we're doing a lot of work on the wall, and the wall is going to get built," Trump said during a roundtable with agricultural leaders at the White House.

Trump faced questions about whether he would sign a funding bill that does not include appropriations for his promised wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. Although the administration signaled last week that the border wall would be a priority in negotiations over the continuing resolution, the White House has since backed off its assertion that funding for the wall is a must-have in this round of spending talks.
Not including spending in the current bill will mean several more months at a minimum before anything happens.

“Building that wall and having it funded remains an important priority to him, but we also know that that can happen later this year and into next year,” she said.

“I don’t think that there will be any curtailing of Donald Trump as president,” he said. "He controls the media, he controls the sentiment [and] he controls everybody. He’s the one who will resort to executive orders more so than [President] Obama ever used them." - Ron Paul
