I used to see kids carrying around that scary looking tin lunchbox with a big tentacled space monster on it in the early 70's. Had no idea what this show was, and then found out recently it was British. So where was this shown in the US, pre cable TV, that kids would want a lunch box about it?

It won't take very long to get them home but it won't be overnight either but Iraq says they can't stay and they are coming home just like Trump said.

I grew upon the Jersey Shore, and Space:1999 never made it to the networks, but the biggest independent station in the area, WPIX channel 11, picked it up and ran it in re-runs for a number of years in the latter half of the 70s.
