    British PM May meeting with Trump on Fri 1-27 - could be important!

    It wouldn't be a potentially big deal, other than being Trump's first foreign leader meeting, except for the fact that Theresa May visited with India's Modi the day before he announced India's demonetization! Definitely something to watch.

    British Prime Minister Theresa May will meet President Trump at the White House Friday, CBS News White House Chief Correspondent Major Garrett reports, citing a senior administration official.

    She’ll be the first foreign leader to visit Mr. Trump at the White House. Trade is certain to come up, as Britain prepares its exit from the European Union. May told business leaders in Davos this week that Britain is looking to strike trade deals with “old friends” and “new allies.” more at link

    May is an establishment front woman.

    Farage stirred the UK pot and US/UK relations will gain strength. May is a pawn, I wouldn't worry about her too much.

    Trade was expected to be a topic so why not? Goldman Sachs (when they are approved) will have several former officers in Trump's cabinet. So again, what was the major development which came out of their meeting? You did say it was "important".
