Thread: Protests and Riots in Mexico

This should be a top priority. Civil war breaking out in Mexico would be a very bad thing.

And one more question: should I get a pass-a-port?

Gotta wonder how much of this is due to the changing weed laws here...........

Who cares about their weed quality, the trade was a major source of revenue for the country...

'Farmers' are trying to up quality or change 'crops' on order to keep beans on the table.

    Interesting times ahead.

The people who helped legalize it in the states who had to smoke that $#@!..

I was mostly joking, but kinda not, anybody who was ever smoking brick weed knew if it was legalized they would have better options.

    In what ways?

The only downside I see for us is a possible influx of refugees. Other than that, my only reaction is "meh..."

Trump will probably put the Army on the border with kill orders.

Not a fan of Mexican beer but I sure do like cactus juice...

Wonder how long it'll take the government there to figure out that the poppy crop is better for the citizenry than the USA drug-dollars?

    REX 84. Oliver North's baby.

    http://www.globalresearch.ca/rex-84-...a/3010?print=1

The Rex 84 Program was originally established on the reasoning that if a “mass exodus” of illegal aliens crossed the Mexican/US border, they would be quickly rounded up and detained in detention centers by FEMA.

Existence of the Rex 84 plan was first revealed during the Iran-Contra Hearings in 1987, and subsequently reported by the Miami Herald on July 5, 1987

” These camps are to be operated by FEMA should martial law need to be implemented in the United States and all it would take is a presidential signature on a proclamation and the attorney general’s signature on a warrant to which a list of names is attached.”

And there you have it ~ the real purpose of FEMA is to not only protect the government but to be its principal vehicle for martial law.

Immigration detention centers could see massive expansion under Trump
    http://www.rawstory.com/2017/01/immi...n-under-trump/

One way Trump’s White House could expand the number of immigrant detention centers nationwide would be for Immigration and Customs Enforcement to buy private prisons with expired Department of Homeland Security contracts. The federal agency has already taken over at least two of those private prisons, both of which failed to renew their contracts with the federal government after Homeland Security determined they were too dangerous and had too many human rights violations to continue holding prisoners.

One of those prisons, the Cibola County Correctional Center in New Mexico, was reopened for immigrant detainees almost immediately, with the same exact human rights issues remaining, if not worsening, according to the ACLU.

    much more at link
Remember the news a couple months ago that the Feds were ending private prison contracts? That'll leave a good chunk of CCA built prisons empty and on the market.

"We have set them on the hobby-horse of an idea about the absorption of individuality by the symbolic unit of COLLECTIVISM. They have never yet and they never will have the sense to reflect that this hobby-horse is a manifest violation of the most important law of nature, which has established from the very creation of the world one unit unlike another and precisely for the purpose of instituting individuality."- A Quote From Some Old Book

I'm interested not only in the government collusion with the cartels (and the people being fed up with it) but also the peso/currency collapse... You start mixing these ingredients and you end up with a BANG
There are only two things we should fight for. One is the defense of our homes and the other is the Bill of Rights. War for any other reason is simply a racket.

I'd rather see Mexico be a prosperous, civil society instead of a violent, corrupt, gangster, crony socialist, plutocratic hell-hole.

Nothing would stop the flood of refugees from coming into the US, and the revolution would continue in the US.

Sure. And I wish my weenie would not measure in meters, but...

As with the rest of the world, MX could choose a higher path, yet they do not. There are some very fine folks in MX. Only trouble is, they are outnumbered grossly by the brutes that revel in the vicious lower culture. Such is the world of men. It is amusing to observe the silliness of other nations such as Sweden and Norway who have cultivated this absurdly and transparently false presumption of higher evolution over the rest of the world, all as they live in accord with the lowest vision of human society: socialism. They seem to actually think the are fooling th thinking people of this world... or perhaps they actually believe their own bull$#@! or just do not care what the world thinks.

The degenerate wretchedness of humanity assumes many forms. That of the Mexicans is rank in its artless crudity, but somewhat credit worthy for the lack of guile. The more "evolved" forms are the more dangerous, IMO, as the tyranny sports a prettier face. One gander at MX in general gives one reason to become queasy, whereas many might look to a place like Sweden and be tempted to go "Ooooooo.." I don't buy any of it. Different dust covers, same rotten tome.
