Also, this is a CLEAR sign to the world that the US is moving away from OPEC - who's most notable member is Saudi Arabia.

Good riddance. The Saudi's fund and create roughly 95% of the worlds terrorism, including ISIS/ISIL.

The Saudi's are the single greatest enemy of the middle east and especially Shia countries. Look at a map, Iraq and Syria are to the direct North of the Saudi Arabian peninsula.

ISIS/ISIL is a direct land/power grab by the Saudi's to expand their territory. Largely funded by US foreign aid.

I expect that aid to dry up under Trump. He's not a moron, he knows full well that the Saudi/Clinton/Bush dynasties have DIRECTLY created ISIS to push the Aravian peninsula's borders Northward while simultaneous knocking out a bloc of countries establishing a modern Silk Road with China and up into Europe.

It seems Trump is flashing signals that his foreign policy will be to reduce ties with China and the Saudi's while increasing legitimate trade negotiations with the Russians and Japanese.

This would be INCREDIBLY bullish for the world over the course of the next 50 years.

Putin/Trump can ABSOLUTELY fight the New World Order as a tandem, avoid all out WW3 and combine to promote peace.

Trumps stated policies and his overall cabinet hires signal that this is absolutely his intention. I fear for his life. TPTB ARE COMING FOR HIM.

Remember the hit on Reagan? Reagan was Trump light in terms of attempting to restore free(er) markets, lower taxes and sane foreign policy.

Putin has been 6D-chessing the $#@! out of Obama, Europe and the NWO pushers for a while now. He's been the primary adversary to the NWO and Trump now steps into this arena as (what appears) to be a serious threat to the NWO. Now he has added a Sec. of State that is well liked by the Russians and is intimately connected to the oil market and the global oil trade. Putin/Trump are going to STOMP on ISIS, TOGETHER.

If Trump pulls through with the job that is required of him he will get 8 years, will essentially secure Republican dominance for 20 years and the next president will likely emerge as a Rand Paul type.

If you think Tillerson over Romney/Bolton isn't a swamp draining move, I don't think you're paying attention.

I know I went on a bit of a rant but I highly doubt there will be a carbon tax enacted by Trump. My point really is to please try and see the forest through the trees.

I'm not worried about Bolton there as the 2nd.

Trump won't be bullied by Bolton. Bolton won't be calling the shots. I've heard what Bolton has to say about Iran. He doesn't want to cater to them. I don't think he's ever advocated for smashing Iran to the ground.

I heard his thought on Obama's Iran deal and I mostly agreed with him. Bolton will be there to lend advice about Iran mostly.

I don't like Bolton on some important stuff, but his VOICE doesn't scare me when someone like Trump is his superior.

I agreed with most of that and I don't see how Tillerson is anything but a huge win. He's probably a better choice than both Corker and Rohrabacher.

As far as Trump being better than Reagan, that is pretty unlikely. The most likely way for it to happen is with an obstructionist Senate. Trump is off to a really bad start with the economic policies he is proposing. That said, I think Trump's cabinet so far is more liberty friendly than Reagan's. It could happen. DeVos, Pruitt, Tillerson would be solid.

Thank you for the thoughtful reply.

I said that Reagan was Trump-light. I did not give a value judgement.

As for the cabinet, yes I agree Trump's is better then Reagan's (so far). I can give you ONE reason why and it alone outweighs all other mistakes combined (IMHO).

Reagan made the ultimate mistake. He had George H.W. Bush as his VP. I firmly believe that Bush and his ilk were behind Reagan's assassination attempt. Reagan's mistake was allowing his #2 and 1st successor to be TPTB lead man and ex CIA head. One bullet to the head = NWO President steps in.

Reagan mistakenly allowed the head Fox into his hen-house.

So far, Trump has not made that mistake. Mike Pence is just a conservative, long time Indiana Representative.

His other hires have either been independent liberty types or some decent conservative/republicans he feels can salvage some value from the republican establishment (and placing them into positions further to the periphery of the circle of influence).

Reagan's cabinet had some issues. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reagan...ation_scandals

The presidency of Ronald Reagan in the United States was marked by multiple scandals, resulting in the investigation, indictment, or conviction of over 138 administration officials, the largest number for any U.S. president.

To Stop Iran’s Bomb, Bomb Iran By JOHN R. BOLTONMARCH 26, 2015
The United States could do a thorough job of destruction, but Israel alone can do what’s necessary. Such action should be combined with vigorous American support for Iran’s opposition, aimed at regime change in Tehran. Mr. Obama’s fascination with an Iranian nuclear deal always had an air of unreality.

Yes, I understand that he is a neo-con. I mentioned I have serious contentions with him on key issues.

In the context of that article he's talking about destroying a small but key element of Iran's nuclear program - not wiping Iran out. I disagree with his idea. You failed to mention the overall context of his article.

Nuclear proliferation is not something that can be taken lightly. Obama's admin. has been bending over to Iran and acting like a little bitch. I very much agree with Bolton's assessment in that regard (stated oustide of that article...recently on Fox's OUTNUMBERED and many times prior).

Bolton is too "finger on the trigger" for my liking. But a lot of his ANALYSIS is valid. He CAN serve as a valid critic of other countries and be vocal if he feels Trump is being too soft on a negotiation.

If there's one guy on this planet who won't simply bomb when Bolton yells FIRE, it's Trump. The sky isn't falling. Take a deep breath.

Quite frankly, outside of ISIS, I'm not worried about Trump war mongering like we've seen the past...gosh...4 Presidents.

He is talking regime change in Iran, that didn't wipe out Iraq and Libya did it?

Iran and Russia are closely tied and Trump wants to avert war and strengthen ties with Putin. Iran is secondary. If Trump and Putin reconnect the 2 Nations Putin can manage Iran if Iran gets a nuke. 4D chess? 6D Chess?

If you get Russia on-board Iran falls in line.

It won't matter if Bolton is barking about regime change in Iran if Trump is moving and shaking with Iran's biggest handler.

"Then David said to the Philistine, 'You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of Yahweh of hosts, the God of the battle lines of Israel, Whom you have reproached.'" - 1 Samuel 17:45

"May future generations look back on our work and say that these were men and women who, in moment of great crisis, stood up to their politicians, the opinion-makers, and the Establishment, and saved their country." - Dr. Ron Paul

    Good analysis.

Trump has made so many "good enemies" that a few "bad friends" in positions lacking full control should not be a cause for major concern at this stage. Most important is who will be in the driving seat and making final calls and how actual policies unfold in months/years ahead.

UPDATE 1-Exxon CEO says Russia deal a model for the rest

    Market News | Thu Sep 6, 2012 | 8:37am EDT

    * Tillerson first CEO to greet Putin in Vladivostok

    * ExxonMobil, Rosneft working in "challenging circumstances"

    * To start drilling in Kara Sea 2014-15

    By Gleb Bryanski

VLADIVOSTOK, Russia Sept 6 The head of ExxonMobil held up a partnership with Russia's Rosneft as a model for the rest of the world, lending international credibility to President Vladimir Putin at a time when his authoritarian style faces mounting criticism.

ExxonMobil's Rex Tillerson, flanked by Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin, was the first foreign CEO to greet Putin ahead of the Asia-Pacific economic summit held in the sea port of Vladivostok, nine hours by plane east of Moscow.

Putin, while still serving as prime minister before returning to the Kremlin for a third term in May, presided over ExxonMobil's deal to join forces with state-controlled Rosneft to drill for oil in Russia's offshore zones and tap "tight" oil reserves in Siberia.

ExxonMobil and Rosneft unveiled the offshore exploration partnership that could invest up to $500 billion in developing Russia's vast energy reserves in the Arctic and Black seas in New York in April.

Under the deal Exxon and Rosneft will seek to develop three fields in the Arctic with recoverable hydrocarbon reserves estimated at 85 billion barrels in oil-equivalent terms.

"For the world, the political leadership, policy partnerships that have made our relationship possible serve as a model illuminating the path to a better future," Tillerson told Putin during a presentation.

"For Russia this relationship is already bearing fruit in terms of new investment, innovations, new possibilities," Tillerson said.

ExxonMobil's expansion into Russia is taking place amid new uncertainty in relations between the two Cold War foes following Putin's return to the Kremlin and ahead of the U.S. presidential election.

    CHALLENGING CIRCUMSTANCES

Putin has also faced growing opposition at home as tens of thousands of people took to the streets of Moscow and other large cities with allegations of ballot fraud after last December's parliamentary election and some investors are worried about signs of a crackdown.

The U.S. government joined European nations in openly criticising Russia for the jail sentences handed to three members of Pussy Riot, a punk band which protested against Putin in a church.

At the same time, Tillerson and other ExxonMobil executives have enjoyed an increasingly cozy relationship with Rosneft and the Kremlin, and mingled with Rosneft executives and Kremlin officials at a fuel storage facility outside Vladivostok's new airport.

He said ExxonMobil and Rosneft will work in "challenging circumstances" seeking to meet the growing global energy demand which he expects to grow by 30 percent by 2040.

Tillerson said seismic studies at the Arctic Kara Sea oil exploration project with Rosneft were ahead of schedule and he expected drilling to commence in 2014-15.

"With this data on the Kara Sea in hand and analysed we expect the drilling of an exploration well in the 2014-15 time frame," he said.

Tillerson said he saw potential for exploration drilling in the Black Sea also in 2014-15. Sechin said he hoped the drilling in the Kara Sea will start in 2014.

Putin, who has repeatedly said that increased trade and closer economic ties were key to improving the broader relationship with the U.S., listened carefully, asking in the end how ExxonMobil would ship oil extracted in the Kara Sea.

"We will undertake a study of a couple of different alternatives, most likely through the north west, through some of the shipping lanes whose current activity is shipping minerals from the mines in the area," Tillerson said.

"It may be piped to the shore, to the terminal," he said, adding a decision would depend on where oil was found.

Tillerson once listed his favorite book as “Atlas Shrugged,” Ayn Rand’s 1957 novel that has become a touchstone for libertarians and promoters of unbridled capitalism.
That settles it. He is the best choice for the job

Are you saying that Rex Tillerson thinks power corrupts? I Dunno if that book meant the same thing to you and me that it means to him. I have a joke for you? What Christmas president do you gift a CEO of basically the richest company in the world that can buy themselves anything they want? You give him a monopoly on force, what's the worst that could happen?

The NEW! IMPROVED! John Bolton **shudders uncontrollably**

Breitbart News Daily - John Bolton - December 9, 2016

    http://www.breitbart.com/radio/2016/...ppress-speech/

Anybody who listens to this audio... should vomit.
    THEY REALLY ARE
    pumping Bolton..
said that a Breitbart 'call in' poll was 'overwhelmingly' in favor of Bolton for SoS.

This is not good for my blood pressure.
I feel EXACTLY the same as when I watched the hijack of the teaparty.
Listening to this Breitbart audio was my 'moment'. **a tear rolls down**
Breitbart is just another FOX... a machine w/ an agenda willing to subvert and cover the truth.
The Neocons have done it again.
As far as I'm concerned they're 'fake news'...

I'm done with 'caring' about Trump or 'caring' about the swamp.

C-ya over in GeoPolitics... it's where I belong.
... besides, CPUd said I'd live longer. He's probably right.
    Cheers,

There aren't enough votes in committee to confirm Bolton. Rand will vote no, and will be very vocal about it.

Donald Trump is expected to nominate Exxon Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson as his secretary of state, two sources close to the transition process told NBC News on Saturday.

Tillerson, 64, became president of the Texas-based oil company in 2004 and has a close business relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He has spent his entire career at the company now known as Exxon Mobil.

The sources cautioned that nothing is final until the president-elect officially announces it, likely next week.

Tillerson met Saturday with Trump at Trump Tower in New York, the president-elect's spokesperson confirmed.

    ...

Tillerson will be paired with former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton as his deputy secretary of state for day-to-day management of the department, one source added.
