Removing Your Pubic Hair Is Linked To A Heightened Risk Of STIs

It appears freedom living is safer than over grooming:

Removing Your Pubic Hair Is Linked To A Heightened Risk Of STIs

But researchers aren’t quite sure why.

The Question: Does waxing, plucking or shaving your pubic hair come with added risk for sexually transmitted infections?

Yes, according to new research that links the frequency of pubic grooming with the added risk of certain sexually transmitted infections.
The new study, which surveyed 7,580 nationally representative adults across the U.S., finds that people who practice “extreme grooming” ― removing all of their pubic hair more than 11 times per year ― or “high frequency” grooming ― trimming pubic hair daily or weekly ― have a 3.5- to four-fold heightened risk for contracting herpes, HPV and syphilis compared to those who had never groomed their pubes.
But if you tend to grow out your pubic hair a few months out of the year, that doesn’t mean you’re at a lower risk for STIs. The research also found that people who practiced “non-extreme” or “low-frequency” grooming — basically, any level of grooming between zero and 11 ― had double the risk of lice infestation compared to those who never groomed.
After controlling for age and number of sexual partners, the researchers determined those who groomed at any frequency had an 80 percent higher risk of having an STI than those who had never groomed at all.

Out of 7,580 adults who were surveyed, exactly how large was the sample size for those who both never groomed at all and actually had sex (much less with multiple partners)? How did researchers ensure these people weren't lying about the frequency of their sex, because it just seems intuitive to me that the folks who are sexually active are more likely to be grooming, so, yeah, you might expect a higher risk in that case.

    Hence the conclusion:

Conclusions Among a representative sample of US residents, pubic hair grooming was positively related to self-reported STI history. Further research is warranted to gain insight into STI risk-reduction strategies.

That is hard to believe. Seems like there was an article a couple of years ago that said the shaving trend was leading to near extinction of human pubic lice.

Based on nothing more than vintage porn, it appears to me that shaving pubic hair is a relatively recent trend. Based on nothing but timing, it is far more likely a product of feminist activism.

    Hah, no no no...

Most feminists have no desire to see any man have good sex. They abhore the idea. They like the idea of women whoring around and having great sex with whoever they want, but they see men as disposable and don't give a $#@! about their sexuality. They basically call all men pedophiles who prefer their women to be shaved. Nevermind that it makes it way more pleasant going down on them and it makes going down on them feel a lot better, for them #AskSuz

Only 1 out of 5 women identify as feminist, I think that goes for younger women as well. The trend to shave down there was born from a combination of late 90s/early 2000s internet porn that tended to depict a lot of shaved women, it absolutely did become a trend around the early 2000s and on, but I was in college back then and the feminists were ardently opposed to the new trend.

Amy Schumer claims in a comedy sketch that guys just started requesting it around that time, and they were like, hmm, that's a little weird, but ok.. and they have done it ever since. That sounds about right.

I have traced the trend's entry into the US, somewhere in California, at the precise moment this video first aired on MTV:

“I don’t think that there will be any curtailing of Donald Trump as president,” he said. "He controls the media, he controls the sentiment [and] he controls everybody. He’s the one who will resort to executive orders more so than [President] Obama ever used them." - Ron Paul

How can I get Thousands of $$ researching something that is common knowledge?
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Are Allergies Worse After Trimming Nose Hairs?

So I noticed that I was getting a stuffy and runny nose and that my allergies were worseafter he trimmed my nose hairs. Nose hair can be very unattractive and just plain annoying, but the purpose of nose hairs is to keep airborne particles from entering the nasal cavity. Nasal hair has a biological purpose. Acording to Wikipedia a study indicated that increased nasal hair density decreases development of asthma in those suffering from seasonal rhinitis.

I shaved mine awhile back. I was firmly in the pro-pube camp until my trim went horribly wrong and I ended up with a bald beaver. I've found it itches like crazy growing out and have decided to keep it trimmed very short. It's not very ladylike to stand around scratching at your vag. I have to go bald next week because we're going to Christmas party and I thought I would surprise Mr Animal with a vajazzling kit I found in my craft room but I'm going to let them grow in a little bit after that because the bad outweighs the good.

Shaving cons - time consuming and really hard because some of my hairs grow inside my labia O_o and if I don't get them my vag looks like it has a mohawk down the crack. Also, once I ran out of plain shaving cream and accidentally grabbed some with menthol - you don't want menthol in your vag. Trust me. The itching. Geez, I'm playing with myself so much you'd think I had balls.

Shaving pros - Lets just say it took my shower to a whole new level. I had no idea my bush was preventing showering pleasure. I have to admit, I've never spent so much time cleaning down there. Mr Animal liked it. He said he really didn't care but it was a nice surprise and I think he enjoyed not getting a mouthful of pubes. I don't have a thick bush but they grow abnormally long. Once I found a butt hair that was at least 10 inches long. I was washing and I thought it was just hair from my head that got caught in my crack (that happens) but when I pulled on it, I realized it was attached!!! I made Mr A come and look at it because no one would've believed me. He said it was gross but I thought it was kinda cool. He also doesn't like my third nipple but that's too bad.

Up until the mid-90's women shaved once in a while for the surprise factor. Now it's a standard grooming practice. It's just trendy I think. But maybe there were women like me saying the same thing when women started shaving their underarms and legs too. I guess some trends stick to culture.

Well, that's what drove me to keep shaving. My bush turned gray really fast. It's bizarre because I don't have any gray hair on my head. I bought some hair color for pubes. It's called Black Betty. You can even get pink pubes if ya want them. I'm going to go back to black to see how well it works.

I was hoping Mr Animal wouldn't notice the gray bush but he did and started teasing me about them.

Not me. It never occurred to me to do anything but trim them up a little and I didn't even start doing that until Mr Animal left his clippers laying on the counter one day and I decided to give them a whirl. I ended up buying myself a pube trimmer that I can use in the tub because Mr Animal kept whining about finding my pubes in his clippers.
