    An Idea Good

I was thinking the other day, what if, assuming that the government is a minarchy, or a nightwatchman state whose only purpose is to provide a national defense and court system, we could fund this government voluntarily through the government with voluntary lotteries and gambling where the profits would go to fund the government. Assuming that a minarchic republic would be very neutral and isolationist when it comes to foreign policy, and would pursue a policy of universal free trade, and that people would probably be well armed, there would not be much of a reason to spend very much on the military. Do you think something like this could work?

Yes. It's an idea good. I would say non-interventionist instead of isolationist, though.
