White Helmets participating in execution (warning graphic):

    http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=fd8_1430900709
This video was wiped from most channels immediately after its release, however the website Liveleak has managed to keep a protected copy which has escaped YouTube communitarian-style censorship. The Liveleak post on the video says, “As expected, YouTube deleted this very incriminating video of the so-called “White Helmets” working hand in hand with Al Qaeda. Another CIA fail, trying to sell us these “White helmet” as civilian workers and volunteers, while they are simply Nusra jihadists."

"The White Helmets were forced to release a statement explaining the events in this video. According to their own admission here, the sequence of events on the day, 5th May 2015 were as follows: Al Nusra called the White Helmets 25 minutes prior to the execution. White Helmets arrived on the scene at 11.35 am, 5 minutes BEFORE the execution was carried out at 11.40. These impartial humanitarian workers did NOTHING to prevent this execution, they appear a full 5 minutes prior to this murder at the behest of the executioners and they are ushered into shot immediately after the victim is shot twice at close range in the head, to collect the body."

"The perpetrator is clearly Al Nusra Front, and it seems as if the White Helmet are avoiding naming the group, and readers would be right to ask why not. So where is their condemnation of this and countless other executions of civilians by Al Nusra – in those White Helmet reports to the UN? "

Syria’s White Helmets: “Soft War” by Way of Deception. The Non-Profit Propaganda Industry

Syria’s White Helmets: “Soft War” by Way of Deception. The Non-Profit Propaganda Industry
    http://21stcenturywire.com/2015/10/2...eption-part-1/

    White Helmets: Follow the Money
The White Helmets were established in March 2013, in Istanbul, Turkey, and is headed by James Le Mesurier, a British “security” specialist and ‘ex’ British military intelligence officer with an impressive track record in some of the most dubious NATO intervention theatres including Bosnia and Kosovo, as well as Iraq, Lebanon, and Palestine. …

The origins of The White Helmet’s initial $300k seed funding is a little hazy … A further $13 million was poured into the White Helmet coffers during 2013 … these “donations” came from the US, UK and SNC with the previously explored connections to George Soros in the US. … Subsequent investigations reveal that USAID-United States Agency for International Development-has been a major shareholder in the White Helmet organisation. … In a USAID report update in July 2015 it is clearly stated that they have supplied over $16m in assistance to the White Helmets.

The USAID track record as a primary US Government/CIA regime change facilitator is extensively documented. From South America to the Ukraine and in the Middle East, USAID serve a malevolent and ultimately destructive role in the dismantling of sovereign nations and their reduction to Western hegemony vassal states, as always, all in the name of freedom and democracy. … “USAID and NED are in the business of “Democracy Promotion” which uses public money (from U.S. taxpayers) for secretive operations with the intention to support pro-U.S. governments with the help of political and social movements abroad. The goal is regime change.” …

With recent developments in Syria … we have seen a scramble to justify the shambolic US foreign policy and its clandestine terror operations in Syria. … the propaganda “war” has only ramped up. …

If an organization is funded by foreign governments who are directly involved in trying over-throw Syria’s government, how can they be rightly called an ‘independent relief organization’? … So, with millions in hard cash and equipment being invested into the White Helmets by US & UK donors who have a very clear regime change objective in Syria, it becomes increasingly difficult to perceive their role as anything other than donor-biased propaganda merchants and … extension of a clandestine terror operation allied to the NATO proxy armies in the region. …

Syria’s White Helmets, NGO “Soft Power” And War Propaganda. The “Moderate Terrorists” Myth Exposed
    http://jforpeace.blogspot.com/2015/1...power-and.html

“If there is any doubt concerning the nefarious undertones of … these NGO dealings, NED founder reportedly said the following in the 1990s: ‘A lot of what we do today was done covertly 25 years ago by the CIA.’ What was once done at night under the cloak of ‘imperialism’ is now done during the day under the guise of ‘humanitarianism.’” …

Hindsight is a generous provider of absolution of the guilt from falling for the sophisticated western government or state propaganda … that so often deceive us into believing the narrative … so often designed to justify military intervention. … this is a narrative that all but ensures the massacre of innocent people under the pretext of ‘liberating’ them, or introducing ‘democracy’ … Western nation-builders normally prescribe the same treatment every time: cutting a swathe through the host country’s society and culture either via proxy armies of foreign mercenaries … While all this is going on, a parallel government has already been formed by the west, laying in waiting in some five star hotel in Paris or London.

Despite such hindsight … that it was in fact pure fiction that took us to war in both Iraq, and in Libya too, there is still a huge degree of cognitive dissonance at play over the Syria commentary. The lies regarding Syria … designed to justify western military intervention and arming proxy militants, are ongoing. … Syria is undergoing the same ‘truth laundering’ treatment as Libya and Iraq underwent … especially when Syria or its allies persistently thwarts the Colonialist vision for the region. …

Along with military invasions and missionaries, NGOs help crack countries open like ripe nuts, paving the way for intensifying waves of exploitation and extraction” … The NGO ‘soft power complex’ is now one of the most destructive global forces. … the path to regime change is facilitated by these undercover government or corporate proxy employees who, once embedded into a society, set about producing the propaganda that will justify intervention, either economically, politically or militarily. NGO propaganda will often employ slick social media marketing …

The perception of a ‘non profit’ complex who purport to be “working for the betterment and improvement of humanity” can be a difficult nut to crack … In the west, charities, not-for-profits and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) are seen as “do gooders” and so they rarely fall under public scrutiny. Western governments know the general public has an inherent faith in their perceived integrity and this provides an ideal cover for western government and intelligence agencies to operate through their NGO and aid organizations.

Much of the propaganda surrounding Syria and the “conflict” is indeed, mythology spun-up by western agents … created and disseminated by the NGO complex working diligently … ensures that a steady flow of misinformation continues uninterrupted …

The White Helmet Myth: The NGO hydra has no more powerful or influential serpentine head in Syria than the Syria Civil Defence aka The White Helmets …. The White Helmets humanitarian front is mainly financed by the British Foreign Office According to Richard Spencer of the London Telegraph. …

the White Helmet mythology, all generated by an incredibly slick and high-gloss media and marketing apparatus, overseen and driven by a George Soros partnered PR company called Purpose. … Can an organization rightly called an ‘independent relief organization’ when it is being funded by a foreign government who is directly involved in the military over-throw of Syria’s government? …These donors include, the British Government, known US regime change facilitators USAID, and the US and NATO-backed ‘Syrian National Council’, a parallel government in-waiting which the west claims represents the Syrian opposition…

This video below reveals a White Helmet operative describing the “throwing of Shabiha bodies in the trash”. Shabiha is a derogatory term for Syrian Government militia or state-employed security forces but is liberally applied … to any member of the Syrian military …

Watch this shocking video here: This same neutral White Helmet operative goes on to pledge allegiance to the terrorist forces … https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qM0Xu4Sz80

Moving on to another video, this time revealing White Helmet operatives standing on the discarded dead bodies of SAA [Syrian Arab Army] soldiers and giving the victory sign. This display of support for the Al Nusra extremist terrorists who have just massacred these soldiers once again demonstrates where their true allegiances lie. Watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmjMZbaMsF8

Where is the claimed ‘neutrality’ in the White Helmet reporting in these same conflict areas where they are embedded? We hear incessantly of the “regime barrel bombs”, but we never hear one mention of the flesh tearing ‘Hell Cannon’ fired indiscriminately upon Aleppo civilians, in a hail of mortars and rockets that regularly rain down upon civilian areas, including into Damascus, from terrorist cells embedded in suburbs. … Likewise, we are never told about the car bombs that have devastated civilian areas in Homs and Latakia, including schools and hospitals. When do we hear about the tunnels dug under civilian homes and streets by the terrorists that are detonated – as a distraction to divert the SAA into ambushes and sniper fire? These neutral humanitarians would do well to talk about the terrorist snipers who kill and maim civilians on a regular basis. Instead, they ignore atrocities committed against the Syrian army, an army which, unlike the foreign mercenary “rebel alliance” terrorists, is comprised of actual Syrian citizens. … A genuinely neutral report or analysis should surely take all of these factors into account …

This comment reflects not having viewed the video, not having read the thread, and not thinking.

Exactly who do you think is and has been attacking the government held areas now and all these years? Who and where do you think Washington’s ISIS/rebel brigade have been and are attacking? Who do you think has been attacking the government controlled areas and destroying cities? You know - the same folks that are armed with US tanks, artillery, missiles, mortars, IEDs, weapons, Humvees, and a fleet of Toyota trucks previously owned by the US state Department. The same folks that are blowing up buildings, killing civilians, committing genocide of Christians, Shiites, and Alawites. The same folks blowing up buildings and destroying cities. The same folks that have attacked and destroyed Palmyra, Raqqa, Idlib, and much of Aleppo, Homs, Deir Ezzur, and many other places. There has been and continues to be tons of devastation and death and attacks on government areas. That is the goal of Washington's ISIS/rebel army.

The White Helmets are a western government created and funded propaganda arm of Al Qaeda. White Helmets was founded by British security specialist and ‘ex’ British military intelligence officer James Le Mesurier. Its first year it received $13 million from US and UK governments, and its connections are fully intertwined with the Soros cartel entities (See http://21stcenturywire.com/2015/09/1...hange-not-aid/ ). USAID, a US government funded regime change facilitator, is a major shareholder of White Helmets and poured an additional $16 million into White Helmets the following year. As has already been pointed out on RPF as well as many other places, the very same personnel photographed, videoed, or documented participating in Al Qaeda faction activities are also photographed in White Helmet uniforms and White Helmet activities, as well as the videos of White Helmet groups and individuals cheering for Al Qaeda factions and pledging support. The White Helmets personnel are Al Qaeda personnel. The White Helmet leadership is composed of such characters such as Farouq al Habib, who was leader of the rebel terrorists attack of Homs. And there is White Helmeter Musawiya Agha Hassan, who is also an Al Nusra mercenary and this White Helmet personnel even has a Facebook page celebrating the deaths of Syrian soldiers. The White Helmets always appear in Al Qaeda/rebel territory because they are one in the same. The White Helmets are Al Qaeda rebel personnel. http://21stcenturywire.com/2015/10/2...eption-part-1/

Pentagon paid PR firm $540mn to make fake terrorist videos

The Pentagon paid a UK PR firm half a billion dollars
to create fake terrorist videos in Iraq in a secret propaganda campaign
exposed by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism.

PR firm Bell Pottinger, known for its array of controversial clients
    including the Saudi government
and Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet’s foundation,
    worked with the US military
to create the propaganda in a secretive operation.

Former employee Martin Wells told the Bureau
how he found himself working in Iraq after being hired as a video editor by Bell Pottinger.
Within 48 hours, he was landing in Baghdad
to edit content for secret “psychological operations” at Camp Victory.

    The firm created television ads
showing Al-Qaeda in a negative light
as well as creating content to look as though it had come from “Arabic TV”.
Crews were sent out to film bombings with low quality video.
The firm would then edit it to make it look like news footage.

The firm also created fake Al-Qaeda propaganda videos,
which were then planted by the military in homes they raided.

Employees were given specific instructions to create the videos.
“We need to make this style of video and we’ve got to use Al-Qaeda's footage,” Wells was told.
“We need it to be 10 minutes long,
and it needs to be in this file format,
and we need to encode it in this manner.”

The videos were created to play on Real Player
which needs an internet connection to run.
The CDs were embedded with a code linking to Google Analytics
which allowed the military to track IP addresses
that the videos were played on.

According to Wells, the videos were picked up in Iran, Syria and the US.

"If one, 48 hours or a week later shows up in another part of the world,
then that’s the more interesting one,” Wells explained.
“And that’s what they’re looking for more, because that gives you a trail.”
The firm also worked under the Joint Psychological Operations Task Force (JPOTF).
The Pentagon said it could not comment on JPOTF operations.
US law prohibits the government from using propaganda on its population,
hence the use of an outside firm to create the content.

Documents show the Pentagon paid $540 million to Bell Pottinger in contracts between 2007 and 2011,
with another contract for $120 million in 2006.
The firm ended its work with the Pentagon in 2011.
In 2009, it was reported that the Pentagon had hired controversial PR firm, The Rendon Group,
to monitor the reporting of journalists embedded with the U.S. military,
to assess whether they were giving "positive" coverage to its missions.

It was also revealed in 2005 that Washington based PR company the Lincoln Group
had been placing articles in newspapers in Iraq
which were secretly written by the US military.
A Pentagon investigation cleared the group of any wrongdoing.

Syria's White Helmets Risk Everything to Save the Victims of Airstrikes

RAED AL-SALEH says that before Syria’s civil war he could never have imagined the position that he is in today. A former electronics trader from the northwestern town of Jisr al-Shughour, Saleh, 33, is now head of Syrian Civil Defense, a volunteer force dedicated to rescuing victims of bombings and shellings. The 3,000-member group, also known as the “White Helmets,” are first responders at the scenes of airstrikes by Russian and Syrian government forces, pulling survivors from the rubble of collapsed apartment buildings and homes.

Saleh spends most of his time between Turkey and opposition-held areas of northern Syria, but is currently visiting the United States to promote Civil Defense’s work as well as a new Netflix documentary about the group. Soft-spoken and reserved, Saleh expresses deep frustration over the civil war that upended his quiet life, thrusting him almost by accident into an extremely dangerous occupation. “Starting from 2011, after the government’s crackdown began, I started helping with humanitarian relief and the evacuation of wounded people in our area following attacks,” he told The Intercept during an interview in New York this week. “We got experience from this practical work and later received some training from a Turkish NGO. By 2013, we started to do search and rescue work after airstrikes, and that year created the Civil Defense.

The group’s work has garnered international attention, including a Nobel Peace Prize nomination as well as the Netflix documentary, which is titled “The White Helmets.” The film chronicles the experiences of several members of a Civil Defense unit in Aleppo, following them between missions as they spend time with their families, conduct training, and reflect on their reasons for volunteering with the group. It also includes harrowing footage of government airstrikes on the city. The aftermath of many such aerial attacks, recorded by Civil Defense members and broadcast on social media, has provided crucial evidence of government war crimes and attacks against civilian targets.

But the attention the group has received has also made it a target of the Syrian government and the Russian forces that support it. In recent days, Russian airstrikes reportedly struck three Civil Defense headquarters in Aleppo, destroying one of the few lifelines available to civilians in the besieged city. “They are not happy that there is a success story in Syria that is receiving attention from the world, says Saleh. “They are targeting us because we have become a critical source of information about what is happening in Aleppo. We document the attacks against civilian neighborhoods, and we pass the messages from the ground to the world.”

Civil Defense is one of the only aid organizations still operating in these bleak circumstances. For supporters of the Syrian government, the group, which has received funding from the U.S. Agency for International Development, has become the subject of lurid conspiracy theories, including accusations that they are part of a Western-orchestrated plot for regime change. Saleh is weary of these claims, saying that they are divorced from the reality of events in Syria. Civil Defense’s code of conduct includes a pledge of political neutrality, and the group rescues victims of bombings regardless of political persuasion.

“We are not asking for anything, except the implementation of the resolutions and agreements asking for an end to the indiscriminate bombings, besiegement, torture and use of chemical weapons by the regime,” Saleh says. “We know that the resolutions to stop these things are not being implemented in Syria because there is no respect for them. There needs to be a political will to stop this catastrophe.”

The Syrian government has recently reiterated its intention to retake opposition-held areas of Aleppo by force. Too weak to accomplish this goal on its own, it has relied on Russian air support as well as ground forces supplied by regional allies. In the last few weeks, hundreds of civilians have reportedly been killed by strikes conducted by Russian and Syrian warplanes, which have been accused of indiscriminately targeting civilian areas of the city. An airstrike last week destroyed a humanitarian convoy organized by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, killing at least 20 people in an attack that has been widely blamed on the Russian government. U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has decried the attacks as likely war crimes, saying that the situation in Aleppo resembled a “slaughterhouse.”

    Who Are the White Helmets?
The group has saved more than 60,000 people in Syria—a feat that has put them in contention for the Nobel Peace Prize.

When airstrikes rain down on rebel-held parts of Syria, a group of 3,000 civilian volunteers are usually the first to respond.

The Syrian Civil Defense, known commonly as the White Helmets, is a volunteer corps of Syrians who act as first responders in the Syrian civil war, which is now in its sixth year. Established in 2013, the group’s charter is simple: to carry out search-and-rescue operations to save the maximum number of lives.

Inspired by a Quranic verse that says “to save a life is to save all of humanity,” the group has rescued more than 60,000 people—a feat that earned them the Right to Livelihood Award, commonly known as the “Alternative Nobel Prize,” in recognition for their “outstanding bravery, compassion and humanitarian engagement in rescuing civilians.” It has also put them in contention for the Nobel Peace Prize.
At least 141 White Helmets have been killed during rescue missions and three of the organization’s four centers in Aleppo were bombed last week. As the Syrian government’s latest bombardment of Aleppo intensifies, the organization warns it may not be able to continue as it once has.
Yasmeen Serhan: Who makes up this organization?

Joanna Natasegara: They come from everywhere and every walk of life. Some of them are students, some of them are professionals, and many, many of them are not. Lots of them are blue-collar workers doing very ordinary jobs who just want to be involved in something that’s positive. The three we focus on are—

Orlando von Einsiedel: A taylor, a blacksmith, and a builder.

Natasegara: It’s a sweet trio of jobs.

Serhan: With such an assortment of people coming together, one can imagine their individual backgrounds lend themselves useful in one way or another. But as the film shows, you have volunteers extinguishing fires and pulling people out of the rubble—not exactly your everyday skills. How are they trained?

Von Einsiedel: These guys all made this decision to not flee Syria, to not pick up a gun, and instead to every day risk their lives to save others. It’s quite an extraordinary decision they’ve all made. And the reason they do the training is because they don’t necessarily have those skills—they’re normal people just like me and you. There’s an organization called Akut, a Turkish organization which became well known during the earthquake in Turkey a couple of years ago, and they sort of specialize in that kind of rescue. And the reason it’s very applicable to what White Helmets are doing is because when those barrel bombs are chucked out the helicopters, the effect on cities like Aleppo is sort of like an earthquake—buildings collapse, people need to be pulled out of the rubble—so the skills are very transferable.

White Helmets undergoing training to evacuate people from the rubble.

Serhan: Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was asked in an interview last week about whether he thought the White Helmets deserve to win the Nobel Peace Prize, to which he responded asking, “What did they achieve in Syria?” How would you answer his question?

Natasegara: They have 120 centers in non-regime-controlled Syria, and that’s because they are not allowed to work in regime-controlled Syria, not because they don’t want to. They have saved 60,000 lives, and those are the ones that they can record, so the real number that they must have saved is actually bigger. And while so many people talk about the lives they save, they also deal with infrastructure and they bury the dead, which is not very well talked about—the amount of dignity that they give to those who lose their lives in Syria also has to be noted, I think. But for us, in terms of what they’ve done for Syria, I think that doesn’t come to question at all. They’re absolutely heroic and driven by this almost unbelievable integrity that everyone in war should be given as a sign of dignity.

White Helmets- also known as the Syrian Civil Defense Group pulls a child from the rubble of a building in Aleppo.

Children of Syria's Aleppo bear brunt of violent onslaught

BEIRUT • The 6-year-old girl was found trapped under the rubble of her home, destroyed by an airstrike in Syria’s rebel-held city of Aleppo. “Dust!” she wailed as rescue workers pried away the stones and debris on top of her, finally freeing her and placing her on a stretcher as she screamed for her father.

“Forget the dust. I’ll wash your face and give you water. Come on, sweetheart,” one rescuer said.

Bruised and battered but alive, Ghazl Qassem was among the lucky survivors of the attack earlier this week. Four days later, rescue workers were still digging Friday through the rubble of the apartment building after pulling out the bodies of 20 people, including nine children, most from Ghazl’s family. They were searching for at least three others believed inside.

At least 96 children are among the 320 people killed in Aleppo since a cease-fire collapsed on Sept. 19, according to UNICEF, as Syrian and Russian warplanes barrage the city’s eastern opposition neighborhoods, trying to crush more than five years of resistance there. Almost a third of the 840 people wounded over the same period are children, according to the World Health Organization.

“Aleppo is one of the most dangerous places in the world, and in the last week it has become perhaps the most dangerous place in the world for children,” Juliette Touma, regional chief of communications for the U.N. children’s agency told The Associated Press.

Nearly 300,000 people — including 100,000 children — are trapped in Aleppo’s rebel-held eastern districts, a pocket of resistance some 8 miles long and 3 miles wide that civil defense workers say has been hit by 1,900 bombs in the past week. The campaign has wreaked destruction on hospitals, clinics, residential buildings, water stations and electric generators.

Parents desperately struggling to keep their families safe fear the threat of an imminent ground offensive. They hold little hope for the future, with no regular schooling and little access to nutritious food. Images of wounded and screaming children, covered in dust or being pulled out of rubble, have become a daily reality in Aleppo.

“We are totally resigned to God’s will,” said Khaled Sakka, a father of 10 children, all under the age of 14. He, his three wives and the children all sleep in one room in the middle of the house, the only safety measure they have against the nightly airstrikes.

“The bombs are bringing down five-story buildings. They are even reaching bunkers,” he said.

Wounded children are often left untreated, sometimes to die, in Aleppo’s overwhelmed hospitals. Only 30 doctors remain in opposition-held neighborhoods: One physician for every 10,000 people, compared with a peacetime standard of one for every 1,000, Touma said.

“It is very difficult to know how many (children) are traumatized, but one would imagine every single one is impacted by the horrors, especially with the intensification of the violence in the past week,” she said.

So-called bunker-busting bombs, designed to target underground structures, have been widely used, possibly to crush tunnels or bunkers used as refuge by the thousands of rebel fighters defending the districts.

But the powerful bombs also threaten the underground shelters where civilians take refuge and where children go to school. For the past several years, most classes have been held in basements because of the constant fighting and threat of airstrikes.

“The use of bunker-busting bombs means there is literally nowhere we can keep children safe, “ said Nick Finney of Save the Children, which runs 13 schools in eastern Aleppo, eight of them held underground. “We’re now more likely to see children being pulled from the rubble or treated on the floor of a hospital than sitting at a school desk.”

When schools opened across the country this month, they remained closed in eastern Aleppo because of the danger, said Brita Haj, the head of the local council in the rebel-held part of the city.

    Washington/UK/Soros White Helmet Propaganda Hoax

    Washington/UK/Soros White Helmet Propaganda Hoax
    http://21stcenturywire.com/2016/09/3...ore-questions/

The so-called “rebel-held” territories (in actuality, terrorist-held areas) in which the White Helmets exclusively operate, have very few civilians remaining in them. The majority of Syrian civilians have fled terrorist-held enclaves ... into government protected areas … a fact is routinely glossed over by western media outlets because it runs counter to the storyline being pushed by the US and UK government, both of whom are funding the White Helmets … the US, UK and George Soros funded public relations management of the White Helmets … a “Feel Good Hoax.” …

To date, none of the White Helmets cinematic photos and videos, much less any of its sensational claims, have ever been independently verified or subjected to any scrutiny regarding their validity ...

the UK Foreign Office has awarded the White Helmets a further £32 million in NON-humanitarian aid, as part of a £ 65 million wider package … This elevates the UK back to their original status as the primary funder of the US coalition funded phony humanitarian organization, embedded exclusively in Nusra Front aka Al Qaeda and ISIS held territory … Total ‘Coalition’ funding to date for these White Helmets may be upwards of $200 million already … Where is all this money actually going?

The White Helmets propaganda bandwagon rolls out one perfectly edited promotional video after the other. There is never any identification of the location or time or any details on the attacks. Names of the alleged injured, or the dead, are never supplied. The western media never question the authenticity of any of their media submissions. The White Helmets have regularly been called out on their use of fake imagery and for the recycling of previously used footage or images. There is a very clear indication that their videos may be staged – evident in the very obvious cuts and edits, the lack of adherence to paramedic procedures, the often cavalier fashion in which they handle injured civilians, flinging their supposedly battered bodies onto stretchers with no neck or back support, the miraculous finding of bodies – as if they had been placed there earlier while the White Helmets dig with equipment (equipment that would jeopardize any normal rescue operation). On top of this, where ever they go, their seems to be an entourage that always outnumbers the White Helmets themselves – of camera people and men shouting and looking busy. …

The following video is a prime example, as the White Helmets frantically dig for the child that is meant to buried under the rubble of a supposedly bombed building, of course “targeted by Russian or Syrian air-strikes.” The first child rescued is a girl who, despite being buried under the rubble, emerges virtually spotless, with a rag doll emotively clutched in her arms, that does not have one speck of dust on it. This level of propaganda is spectacular. The White Helmet claim to be rescuing children, unfortunately, the children seem to have been completely abused as marketing visual aids for the White Helmet PR campaigns. … If we watch as they take out the girl, we could also ask why the child was unable to crawl out and stand up herself. A grown man has no difficult walking in the gap and the girl is not trapped under anything. This video has all the hallmarks of a polished production piece …

There are many children dying at the hands of US-backed terrorists in Syria including children in West Aleppo too, and they are never talked about or given airtime in the western mainstream media. They are the children being eviscerated by the “rain of mortars” that is falling every day upon West Aleppo, launched from the Eastern Aleppo terrorist enclaves, inhabited by Nusra Front, 22 other terrorist brigades, hostage civilians and the White Helmets. …

And how many times has it been shown on this forum, that Al Qaeda and Isis are the same thing.

Similar but still different. Some people think all Muslims are the same too. http://english.al-akhbar.com/node/21352

ISIS and al-Qaeda are similar and yet different in some regards, and below is a list of differences and similarities:

    1) Al-Qaeda had a charismatic leader with oratorical skills. He was able to inspire fellow fanatics and young Arabs. ISIS, on the other hand, does not have a charismatic leader and its caliph failed in his first televised speech.

    2) Al-Qaeda was centrally run by Bin Laden and his lieutenants while ISIS seems to have a collective leadership style organization.

    3) In the distinctions of political parties by Maurice Duverger, al-Qaeda was an elite small organization seeking true believers, while ISIS (and hence its danger) is a mass party/army that wants to run countries.

    4) Al-Qaeda specialized in spectacular attacks on Western targets while ISIS focuses on horror images to intimidate and achieve military victories. Don’t underestimate the fear that it instilled in the hearts of its enemies in Syria and Iraq.

    5) ISIS focuses on the battle at home while Bin Laden focused on the fight with the US and West.

    6) They both share the Wahhabi ideology.

    7) Both abhor the religious establishments of al-Azhar and in Riyadh.

    8) Both can easily justify murdering fellow Muslims.

    9) Both are youth-oriented in their online (or TV) propaganda operations.

    10) Al-Qaeda relied on old style media, while ISIS focuses on new media.

    11) ISIS is obsessed with campaigning among youth.

    12) ISIS has several distinct regional organizations in order to avoid the fate of al-Qaeda after Bin Laden went into hiding and then death.

    13) ISIS uses simple language on social media, while Bin Laden favored the old style of Arabic speech-making (his first speech after September 11 was an exception and it worked in his favor among Arab public opinion.)

    14) ISIS does not fault al-Qaeda in principle but faults the current leadership of al-Qaeda (see the letter from Abu Mohammed Al-`Adnani to Ayman al-Dhawahiri). Al-Qaeda now faults ISIS in principle.

    15) Al-Qaeda was born with the full blessing of the Saudi intelligence service (and with the consent of the US during the Cold War) while ISIS developed in opposition to Saudi rule (see the studies by Saudi dissident Badr al-Ibrahim).

    16) ISIS wants to take over the state (and expand it to be integrated into its caliphate) while al-Qaeda wants to subvert the state with no ultimate goal.

    17) ISIS wants to impose Islamic laws and regulations while al-Qaeda is too focused on military jihad activities.

    18) ISIS went back to “Islam-is-the-solution” while al-Qaeda sticks to bombings-are-the-solution.

    19) ISIS has a financial brain, while al-Qaeda was reliant on the largesse of Bin Laden.

    20) ISIS addresses itself to the citizens in areas under its control while al-Qaeda addresses itself to the ummah.

    21) ISIS and al-Qaeda are quick to resort to takfir.

    22) Al-Qaeda sought allies among jihadi groups while ISIS seems keen on alienating fellow jihadi groups.

    23) Al-Qaeda focused on foreign policy while ISIS focuses on domestic policy.

    24) Both al-Qaeda and ISIS are not keen on antagonizing Israel.

    25) Al-Qaeda was a short-range threat to the region, while ISIS seems like a long-term threat to the region.

    26) The very creation of al-Qaeda and later of ISIS took place in the context of Western glamorization of Islamist violence and terrorism (first in Afghanistan and later in Syria).

    27) Both organizations are internationalist.

    28) Al-Qaeda’s literature seemed less hostile to the House of Saud than ISIS, and Abu Mohammed Al-`Adnani pointed this out in his famous letter to Dhawahiri.

    29) ISIS, despite its literature claims, is more pragmatic in its recruitment: “former” Ba’thists form an important component in its leadership ranks.

    30) Both ISIS and al-Qaeda benefited from direct or indirect Gulf funding.
