Is it Gold, Silver, Palladium, Platinum? or other?
How do you buy and store whatever you collect?
Thanks.

I think its kinda late to jump on the gold bandwagon, gold has been trading at one of the highest levels yet...

Of those, silver mainly but for real bad times I would say non perishable food, bullets, solar cells, fuel, non electronic old diesel generators and vehicles, guns, water purifiers, ect. In real bad time times you would be very rich then.
LOL seriously. I definitely think investing in just about *any* non-perishable goods that are valuable is a good thing. Heck I bet even oil would be a big investment (if you could store all the barrels around). Once I graduate with my BS I'm going to be getting a lot of silver and gold.
Don't forget that when the collapse gets close, the politicians will be hording the public treasure chest to try to make out like thieves and that will speed it up and then there will be a sort of multiplier effect...
It'll be interesting because not many people will be wanting to get into politics.
