Was in Austin, Texas and got hooked on Tochy's Tacos, it was all freshly made every day and kicked ass, I sampled around here and there trying stuff out. A permanent location and does have sister stores, but I got hooked.

We have Torchy's here too. Quite a few Mexican restaurants now have their own trucks but Austin is pretty much the food truck capital in Texas I think.

Its an emotional argument you aren't supposed to take it seriously. Its like the talking point that Trump or Clinton is racist, if you don't think that they are racist you automatically use a different meaning for the words. So to the Trump supporter they hear what they want to hear instead of the false attack. They hear oh my god if Clinton becomes president my country becomes Mexico. Or they hear oh my god if Trump becomes president then America will be racist again like the baby boomer generation.

I've never seen white rice served with Mexican food, at least not at a restaurant.. what's up with that? Not a huge complaint if I were eating at somebody's home, but odd that both the restaurant and your kitchen both had white rice.

I tried it. 4 very small tacos for $7.50. Not even really an appetizer. I could eat 8 of those finger tacos and still be hungry. Just not worth the money. Way too spicy, the tortillas are very dry and still no sour cream. BBB, gotta go get lunch (again.)

Those are the size of real tacos. I normally eat 3 and I'm stuffed. Again, fat people things.

With the avocado, those 4 tacos are probably a solid 800 calories. Not a small meal.

Each one of those tacos has 2 tortillas. Actually revising my original prediction. 8 tortillas = roughly ~700 calories. Those 4 tacos are probably 1400 calories or so.

There are a lot of voters out there who like tacos as a food item but who don't like the trends that have them feeling "surrounded" by taco makers. As Lee Drutman described for Vox last month, the most solidly Republican cohort of states is those that, over the past 25 years, have had large percentage increases in their immigrant populations from a low initial level.

Arkansas was just 1% foreign born in 1990. By 2014, it was 4.7%. On an absolute level, that surely leaves Arkansas far from awash in taco trucks. But the decline in cultural homogeneity is felt and, by many voters, disliked.

I like Mexican food, but I like American food too. I don't want Mexican to become the dominant cuisine in America, and I don't want their music to become the dominant music. I don't want their socialist politics to become the dominant politics. I don't want Latin style corruption to become the norm here. I don't want their style of dress, architecture, and literature to become the norm. Basically I do not want to live in Mexico, I want to live in America. If we keep importing Mexicans by the millions then America will become just like Mexico. If that is what you want, then just move to Mexico and let the rest of us keep the culture we prefer.
