How many blacks play NFL.....compared to whites?

He's half black, half white and was adopted by well-to-do whites who went out of their way to make him feel accepted. He clearly has identity problems. He probably always felt like he wasn't black enough and this display is an attempt to solidify himself as being "down".

It's just like that actor who made that ridiculous speech at the BET awards recently. I don't think most people realize just what cynical move both of these guys made.

Well, that's just great. I sit or stand depending on my mood. Last ball game they did God Bless America and some military salute during the 7th inning stretch. I got a bug up my ass, so I stayed seated. If I do that now, people assume I am against wacism.

No. Just a dumb reason to sit during the Anthem. We are all oppressed. Not just black people.

I draw a distinction between BLM advocates and SJWs because while it is somewhat true that the drug laws are disproportionately hurting blacks, it is not an issue that we should be focusing on as race-based. It is not based on race, it is based on the establishment's hatred toward us underlings. BLM, while being insane in many ways, actually would have a sort of valid point if they didn't focus on totally stupid things and blow them out of proportion and then turn them into a race issue. What they should be focusing on is the establishment's treatment of its citizens, not just of blacks. While it is true that SJWs are usually BLM advocates, not all BLM advocates are SJWs, since SJWs have gone completely bat$#@! insane full retard megalomaniacal freaks who blame words and white men and society for everything that hurts their feelings and advocates literally oppressing a racial and sexual demographic in order to stop sexism and racism... yeah. So I don't know if Kaepernick is an SJW, but I don't necessarily call him one and I don't care enough to investigate. Just wanted to draw that distinction because of the possibility that he's not a full-on retarded SJW that says there's a rape culture and hidden oppression imbedded in the language and words.

I'm very lucky I live in an area now with a very heavy Mennonite presence - when I sit for the anthem, I imagine people think I am Mennonite along with the hundreds in the audience doing the same.

You have Hillary who has called black teens or black kids super predators, you have Donald Trump who’s openly racist. We have a presidential candidate who has deleted emails and done things illegally and is a presidential candidate. That doesn’t make sense to me because if that was any other person you’d be in prison. So, what is this country really standing for?
Sounds like a person with a conscience.

And you're still stupidly quoting me in your sig while probably nobody except you knows why that particular comment was even interesting... because it wasn't. It was completely normal. I know you think you're getting on my nerves, but really I just want you to know how little it makes sense and how little you should be taken seriously because of it, kind of like the neck-beard, trailer-trash, cross-eyed redneck that says your mom is a whore and laughs wildly. You just feel kind of confused and surprised at how stupid they look and it almost makes you feel sorry... but not quite.

What The Media Did Not Report: Here Is The "Ignored" Part Of Kaepernick's Speech

Colin Kaepernick has made headlines in recent days for his decision to sit during the National Anthem. According to the mainstream media, his reasoning is simple (because the only thing that is comprehendible to the majority of Americans is a soundbite) - police brutality and the oppression of people of color.

Implicit in that simple narrative is one thing unsaid - it's Trump's fault... and Hillary will fight the good fight to support black people.

However, if one took the time to actually read Kaepernick's full interview transcript, the narrative is very different, and not at all what the mainstream would like you to hear...

Colin Kaepernick (CK): People don’t realize what’s really going on in this country. There are a lot things that are going on that are unjust. People aren’t being held accountable for. And that’s something that needs to change. That’s something that this country stands for freedom, liberty and justice for all. And it’s not happening for all right now.

Media: Does the election year have anything to do with timing?

CK: It wasn’t a timing thing, it wasn’t something that was planned. But I think the two presidential candidates that we currently have also represent the issues that we have in this country right now.

Media: Do you want to expand on that?

CK: You have Hillary who has called black teens or black kids super predators, you have Donald Trump who’s openly racist. We have a presidential candidate who has deleted emails and done things illegally and is a presidential candidate. That doesn’t make sense to me because if that was any other person you’d be in prison. So, what is this country really standing for?

Media: It is a country that has elected a black president twice…

CK: It has elected a black president but there are also a lot of things that haven’t changed

A sense of danger gives birth to fear. And fear is the time-honored cross for the crucifixion of liberty.

A lot of black people are BLM, but not SJW in any other sense than in which it relates to helping black people.

I thought he was wrong, then I read what he said NOT what the MSM wants you to belive.
    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-0...ernicks-speech

He doesn't mention "black people" at all, and says "people of color" only once in what I believe is a correct statement.

In a letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and 49ers CEO Jed York, Martin Halloran, the president of San Francisco's police union, said Kaepernick's statements showed "naiveté" and "total lack of sensitivity" toward police, along with an "incredible lack of knowledge" about officer-involved shootings.

"I only wish Mr. Kaepernick could see the emotional and psychological challenges that our officers face following a fatal encounter," Halloran wrote.

"Some are so affected they never return to the streets. In short, Mr. Kaepernick has embarrassed himself, the 49er organization, and the NFL based on a false narrative and misinformation that lacks any factual basis."

There's two sides of that coin. He should see the pain officers cause with their unjust actions. The suffering of the people who are afraid to go outside because of the police. Yep, there are definitely two sides to that coin and he just acted like the other didn't exist.

Afraid to go outside solely because of the police? At least the police identify themselves so you can avoid them.
