They're not trying to shut him down, he's being used to isolate the Trump supporters from the rest of the electorate. Notice how they waited until Trump started trying to move to the center. He can't get those voters if they believe they're joining up with a bunch of bigots and crackpots. And that's what the Clinton campaign has planned over the next few weeks.

Alex should debate Hillary on September 26th.
It's not even about getting voters any longer. 40% will vote for Hillary no matter how vile she is. It's about discouraging Hillary's voters to go to the polls. The Assange emails are really going to devastate the GOTV effort among democrat moderates, Bernie supporters and independents. Her rallies are quieter than some morgues.
Trump can beat her weak movement even with a fractured coalition on his side. This whole KKK based fear program will only really drive urban blacks and single women to vote for her, when those were her two main voting blocs.

The DNC will get their people to the polls. They are the only party with a legitimate GOTV operation.

Possibly in early voting states. I agree in early voting states where they will be given time to do their thing. But I seriously doubt in states with the one sole election day. Morale has been down all year and now enter Hillary who doesn't inspire anyone.

** In 2008 there were 38,111,341 Democrat votes in the primary. In 2016 there were 29,939,251 votes. A net decrease of 8,172,090 (-21%).
REPUBLICAN PARTY TURNOUT–
** In 2012 there were 19,214,513 Republican votes in the primary. In 2016 there were 31,108,968 votes. A net increase of 11,894,455 (+62%).
Republicans had 1.1 million more primary voters this year than the Democratic party.
These are stunning numbers!

Valid point. Let's say, then, only rednecks in swing states. As a segue: I live in CA but I there are a ton of rednecks here. I recall seeing a "show the birth certificate" billboard on I5 up near Red Bluff. CA is redneck except for the Bay Area and Los Angeles.

I purpose this election be decided by a real life episode of Celebrity Death Match. It could be the best MTV since they stopped playing videos 20 years ago.

Jones is way too high profile to be assassinated. That ship sailed about 5 years ago.

Alex Jones does nothing but spout lie after lie, but who really has the time to critique hundreds of hours of his lies? I don't have that time, but I'll critique one of his videos here as an example:
Anyone with a basic knowledge of Litvinenko's death would know that both Jones and Wayne Madsen are lying and lying by omission (the same thing that Daniel McAdams does so well as well, and really a long cast of dictator worshiping characters like Justin Raimondo, Lew Rockwell, etc). So the both of them are discussing, or really lying rather, about the circumstances surrounding Litvinenko's death, and Jones happens to bring up pedophilia among British elites as a random talking point to illustrate how corrupt British elites are yet making no reference of it to Putin when it was key to understanding the circumstances of Litvinenko's death. Jones claims to have read the British report on Litvinenko's death but three pages was spent on Litvinenko's allegation that Putin was a pedophile (Litivenko also accused Putin of being involved in the 2005 London Bombings and 1999 Moscow bombings), and before leading the FSB was caught on camera having sex with young boys in a room known to capture footage of other sex scandals involving other Kremlin officials (when Putin led the FSB he had the video destroyed). The final straw that led to Litvinenko's death, as Litivenko himself believed on his death bed, and from polonium poisoning of all things, was this accusation. Supposedly Alex Jones knows the full facts of the case, facts of which, like the pedophile allegation, were available for a decade after Litivenko's death and now reiterated by a report he supposedly read. Jones did not mention this fact at all (he could choose not to believe in it, but at least he could mention it, right?) and has the gall to warn people about pedophiles (he's dedicated hours to it even!, of course such a thing to him only exists among Western elites and "globalists", and not dictators that he shills for). SO WHAT JONES ENDS UP DOING IS BLATANTLY COVERING UP A PEDOPHILE ALLEGATION AGAINST PUTIN WHEN HE HAD JUST FAULTED OTHERS FOR COVERING UP FOR PEDOPHILES! This, and a long list of things he has already stated, just indicates that the man is evil (and a traitor and whatever else).
The 6 minute video could be dissected far better than I just did (Jones doesn't even know his facts about Pearl Harbor as he mentions carriers being destroyed), and it's just a slew of bad facts after bad facts from both Jones and Wayne Madsen.
I think at this point, Alex Jones' support here is mostly chocked up to being naive more than something else. But beyond this naivety, like unwavering Trump support, it's really that something else...
Litivenko's accusation was made watching Putin kissing a boy's stomach: .
Despite having much plastic surgery and Botox now, Putin is often stereotyped as having a stern, serious look about him, but I have noticed that in videos and pictures of him where young children are also around him, especially young boys, his face does light up...
Wherever this video is shown or allegations of Putin being a pedophile is made, his defenders are quite fun to read (but will they defend him here when I'm bringing up such allegations now?). The nature of their defense has a similar nature to some of the posting that goes on here as well... What better way to blow ones cover as a Russian operative when you must defend Putin, right? After being brainwashed by Russian propaganda for so long, and without ever knowing it, the average non-Russian here does not possess the capacity to really criticize Putin, but when it does happen, can you Russian operatives be able to bite your tongue and control yourselves?
Who cares? As is AJ is important enough to even mention, let alone have another thread about him. If AJ disappeared tomorrow, only the real whack jobs would even notice, and the world would be a better place.
