In Europe for 3 weeks... Don't expect to hear much from me.

Got to Milan yesterday and plan on driving to Genoa tomorrow, then French beaches, Paris, Germany and end up in Amsterdam. We have no set agenda so we might hit some other places along that general route. So far ain't seen no "terrorists" (and don't expect to...)

    Ciao!

Very jealous. That is a vacation we've been wanting to do for awhile, but every time we get serious, something always comes up.

    Have fun. Be safe.

Finally got to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower today. We had visited Paris once before about 5 years ago but at that time the top of the tower was closed for renovation so we were only able to get to the first deck. Quite a marvel considering how long ago it was built. Everything still working after so many years!! (Amazing elevators)

I believe I heard some time ago that the thing is lighter than the volume of air it takes up..

Spent 2 nights in Brussels and really feel bad for the poor businessmen trying to make a living in Brussels and elsewhere in Europe right now. Most of the attractions had very few people at them and even parking was a breeze. Most restaurants were barely keeping their doors open with so few customers. Everyone is such a bunch of chickens these days. A few people get killed and everyone sticks their heads in the sand...

Great... In five days we fly home from Amsterdam's Shipol Airport and now they have heightened security there. I understand there will be greater delays and perhaps some canceled flights. We've had a great trip so far so I guess a few delays won't bother us too much...

Yesterday my friend in Germany took us out in his Porsche and we went 280kph (174mph) on the Autobahn... First time I've ever gone that fast in a car. It was amazing how quick his car is. He has it pumped up to 550 hp and that's a lot for a lightweight car. He says the fastest he's ever had it was 330kph and says there was still some power to spare!

And I was feeling good about getting our 90hp Renault up to 172kph... What a pathetic attempt at driving fast on the Autobahn. I wish I had the Ron Paul Corvette here. That would be a blast on the Autobahn!

Had a great time with luctor at the old Dutch windmills and it's nice to know there are real people behind the names here on the forums. I've met up with 4 forum members so far and had a good time with each. Here's to LIBERTY!!

This luxembourg place smells funny. I think its the clean air.
It's all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it's fitness or whatever. It's about getting up, motivating yourself and just doing it.

Last day of our 3 weeks in Europe and it's been a blast visiting the other side of the pond but now we have to fight the airport security here in Amsterdam. We are still in our hotel room after learning that our flight has been delayed twice already. This means we miss our connection at DFW and will have to overnight there (assuming there are not even more delays). Have to return the lease car first and then to the airport. If we get delayed again in Amsterdam we will probably spend an extra night here. We are flexible so no worries... take each day as it comes.

A poor person in one of those socialist European countries like England will never see anything as nice as Ken Tah Ten or Kain Tuk ee ( Kentucky ) .
