Here we Go............Slate says Trump's friendly relationship with Russia UNDERMINES the West

Did they email this straight from Langley?

    http://www.slate.com/articles/news_a..._lot_like.html

Vladimir Putin has a plan for destroying the West—and that plan looks a lot like Donald Trump. Over the past decade, Russia has boosted right-wing populists across Europe. It loaned money to Marine Le Pen in France, well-documented transfusions of cash to keep her presidential campaign alive. Such largesse also wended its way to the former Italian premier Silvio Berlusconi, who profited “personally and handsomely” from Russian energy deals, as an American ambassador to Rome once put it. (Berlusconi also shared a 240-year-old bottle of Crimean wine with Putin and apparently makes ample use of a bed gifted to him by the Russian president.)

There’s a clear pattern: Putin runs stealth efforts on behalf of politicians who rail against the European Union and want to push away from NATO. He’s been a patron of Golden Dawn in Greece, Ataka in Bulgaria, and Jobbik in Hungary. Joe Biden warned about this effort last year in a speech at the Brookings Institution: “President Putin sees such political forces as useful tools to be manipulated, to create cracks in the European body politic which he can then exploit.” Ruptures that will likely multiply after Brexit—a campaign Russia’s many propaganda organs bombastically promoted.
n the end, we only have circumstantial evidence about the Russian efforts to shape this election—a series of disparate data points and a history of past interference in similar contests. But the pattern is troubling, and so is the premise. If Putin wanted to concoct the ideal candidate to serve his purposes, his laboratory creation would look like Donald Trump. The Republican nominee wants to shatter our military alliances in Europe; he cheers the destruction of the European Union; he favors ratcheting down tensions with Russia over Ukraine and Syria, both as a matter of foreign policy and in service of his own pecuniary interests. A Trump presidency would weaken Putin’s greatest geo-strategic competitor. By stoking racial hatred, Trump will shred the fabric of American society. He advertises his willingness to dismantle constitutional limits on executive power. In his desire to renegotiate debt payments, he would ruin the full faith and credit of the United States. One pro-Kremlin blogger summed up his government’s interest in this election with clarifying bluntness: “Trump will smash America as we know it, we’ve got nothing to lose.”

Clearly, "friendly" in this context doesn't just mean leaving one another alone. It means Trump and Putin mutually supporting one another in tyranny.

Or you and slate get easily triggered. Trump said he wants to be friends with Russia and nothing about support.

    If not for Putin:

    1. Syria would be in the hands of ISIS.
    2. All of Ukraine would have been conquered by the West rather than just the Western half.
    3. Snowden would be dead.
    4. Stuxnet, the Equation Group, the Nuland Tapes, and countless other outrages committed by our government never would have been exposed.

If Putin were more powerful, Libya never would have fallen and the European migrant crisis never would have began.

And note the chutzpah of the author of that article, citing the fact Russian banks loaned money to Le Pen as some kind of "conspiracy". Yeah, there was a conspiracy all right- a conspiracy of the Rothschild controlled French banks to refuse to lend credit to the National Front despite them meeting or exceeding the credit worthiness of all the other political parties who get loans from French banks with ease. Le Pen went to Russia because that was the only place an anti-globalist party has access to a free market financial system.

Right, because when Trump's natural inclination is to live and let live, and that's what friendliness means to him? We should just ignore everything else he's said about bullying around other countries.

But don't take my word for it. Just read what the other Trump trolls in this thread are saying.

This has got to be the most ridiculous conspiracy fantasy yet from Slate.

"Putin has a plan for destroying the West" - That must be why Russia is surrounding US with bases and missile, and expanding a military alliance with all countries surrounding the US, and sending missile carrying warships and spy spy ships and spy planes off US coasts and borders, and initiating sanction and trade wars with Us, and over throwing the government of nations friendly to or bordering the US, and arming, funding and training terrorist groups to wreak havoc and destabilize nations in the middle east that are friendly with the US. Oh wait, it was Washington doing all that stuff now wasn't it.

Trump is secretly a Putin puppet , a Manchurian candidate to carry out the devious plot to destroy America.
Actually if you wanted to concoct candidates to destroy everything positive in America, your ideal candidates to do that would be Hitlary, Obama, the Neocons, Bush, Clinton. They have certainly done a great job destroying US so far - $19 trillion official debt, $80 trillion actual GAAP debt, total surveillance destruction of due process, civil asset forfeitures, destruction of Fourth amendment, TSA naked body scans and feel ups, regime changes, email collection, consolidating ever more power over finances, economy, production, people's incomes, media, people's privacy, internet use, telephone conversations, email, wiretapping without warrants, federal police authorized of write their own search and seizure warrants - no judge, constitution be damned, power over peoples' spending, people's health, education, civil asset forfeitures, warfare, invasions, authority to detain people indefinitely with nebulous classifications like "detainees" "enemy combatants" enemy noncombatants", renditions, fake trials by military tribunals relying solely on multiple degree hearsay evidence without right to counsel or to review evidence or to confront witnesses or to subpoena, geometrically progressing debt impossible to pay, and on and on.

But Putin is the imperial overload with wanting to destroy the world because why - oh because he stops Washington's proxy terrorists from further causing the deaths of more hundreds of thousands, and impoverishment of more millions, and he he won't allow Washington to rape Syria because Syria would not agree to Washington's Washington-Saudi gas line thru Syria and to try to control Europe's supply of natural gas.

The lunacy of the article's author is bad enough, but then you have certain folks that probably did not even bother to read the author's insanity, but nevertheless decide to post a juvenile comment lacking any substance whatsoever, ignoring all facts, events and background, policy, Dr. Paul's teachings, or reason but instead relying on ad emotional to tend to perpetuate the lunacy of the author. But hey, the lunacy of the article is Ok, because well "Trump". As long as its against Trump that justifies being and idiot. It justifies embracing statist lunacy. It justifies jumping on the bandwagon to demonizing any foreign leaders that deviate from Washington's imperial orders.

True. Trump has no inclination to 'Americanize' the world like the rest of these rootless cosmopolitans wish to. And when I use the term 'Americanization' I'm talking about the shallow materialist based group-think that emerged out of WW2.

We need a Trump "Spin, Chaff and Flak" subforum where we can move the excrement from leftist rags like Slate and NY TImes.
“I don’t think that there will be any curtailing of Donald Trump as president,” he said. "He controls the media, he controls the sentiment [and] he controls everybody. He’s the one who will resort to executive orders more so than [President] Obama ever used them." - Ron Paul

That is absolutely ridiculous. The only way to twist his position into anything like what you say is by defining f- with you as, "do anything Trump doesn't like." Every time he opens his mouth about foreign policy he's calling for bullying some nation or other around because he thinks they're making too much money without the federal government getting a cut of the action or some nonsense like that.

Putin is a good guy compared to most leaders.
BOWLING GREEN, Kentucky – Washington liberals are trying to push through the so-called DREAM Act, which creates an official path to Democrat voter registration for 2 million college-age illegal immigrants.
    Rand Paul 2010

    Booker T. Washington:
Cast it down among the eight millions of Negroes whose habits you know, whose
fidelity and love you have tested in days when to have proved treacherous meant the ruin of your firesides.
