    and the targeting/punishment of the Russian economy
    taking preeminence over the targeting of Iran.
    Russia has now entered the market and is building/selling passenger aircraft.
    One of its first major contracts was to be with Iran.

    Yeah I don't like watching him either. He does have a point here.
    There's nothing wrong with selling them some civilian airliners.
    (IIRC the US still owes Iran an Airbus.)

    Vietnam didnt fare well despite the treasure and bloodshed, while in just a couple of years of trade we became quite close. Same with China - everyone holds their noses and tolerates China now that we trade with them. Iran would be no different. Trade aligns people and promotes peace, making us more tolerant of one another.

    Kerry missed this point entirely... Its not like Iran is buying 787's to crash them into the new WTC.
