Hawks in Reagan White House Derogatorily Labeled Trump as 'Pro-Peace'

“Trump apparently leaked news of their visit to the New York Times, which ran a story about it on the front page. Rep. Beryl Anthony(D-Ark.), the DCCC chairman, told the paper, “The message Trump has been preaching is a Democratic message.” The congressman specifically cited Trump’s push for peace in Central America and his advocacy for speeding up nuclear disarmament negotiations with the Soviet Union. A spokesman for Kerry (D-Mass.) was quoted praising Trump as “an independent thinker.”

They are playing games with you. Trump is the same person after saying that killing Gaddafi and Saddam set the middle east on fire just this last week said he would have surgically taken Gaddfi out. So with hind sight knowledge, he still wants to do something very anti peace which he said set the middle east of fire.

Sorry, but it doesn't matter who said what, what Trump is selling cannot be described by any reasonable person to be pro peace. Also think about the Russian sanctions which was renewed a few days ago, did he do anything at all to stop it? maybe speak out in support of trade with Russia? no. He did nothing as the west continues to provoke Russia. The man is not pro peace, he is just smart enough to know that non interventionists are very desperate and throwing a few bones down their way would get them talking.

Some might think US at war 93% of the time since 1776 is just a wee bit excessive.

    Give it a rest.

Reagan is far more pro-peace than Trump. Could you ever imagine Trump sitting with these freedom fighters? Oh yeah, back then the Russians were the boogie man. If Trump were President back then, he would be telling the country how he would "profile" all Russians and the morons in the GOP would eat it all up... I bet AUH20 was all for this back then...

A sense of danger gives birth to fear. And fear is the time-honored cross for the crucifixion of liberty.

Rumsfeld is behind Trump. He is the chief demon of the Hawks.

Not Taliban and Reagan did not say that about them. He said that in reference to Nicaragua fighters.
