Government corruption has become rampant:

Senior SEC employees spent up to 8 hours a day surfing porn sites instead of cracking down on financial crimes

Nuclear Regulatory Commission workers watch porn instead of cracking down on unsafe conditions at nuclear plants

An EPA employee who downloaded 7,000 porn files, then spent 2-6 hours each workday watching porn. He’s been doing it for years … but the EPA never fired him. Another EPA employee harassed 16 women co-workers … and then was promoted to a higher-paying job with more responsibility, where he harassed more women

NSA spies pass around homemade sexual videos and pictures they’ve collected from spying on the American people

NSA employees have also been caught using their mass surveillance powers to spy on love interests, such as girlfriends, obsessions or former wives … and to eavesdrop on American soldiers’ intimate conversations with their wives back home. And see this (“routinely shared salacious or tantalizing phone calls that had been intercepted” … “‘Hey, check this out … there’s good phone sex’”)

An employee of the Transportation Security Administration admitted that TSA agents share – and laugh at – nude scans of passengers. Another TSA employee says that screeners make excuses so they can grope and fondle travelers that they’re attracted to (maybe that’s why the TSA failed to find mock explosives or banned weapons going through checkpoints in 95% of trials)

Investigators from the Treasury’s Office of the Inspector General found that some of the regulator’s employees surfed erotic websites, hired prostitutes and accepted gifts from bank executives … instead of actually working to help the economy

The Minerals Management Service – the regulator charged with overseeing BP and other oil companies to ensure that oil spills don’t occur – was riddled with “a culture of substance abuse and promiscuity”, which included “sex with industry contacts”

I don't know that today's government "worker" is any more corrupt than those of years gone by, it's just given this digital age it's more easy to document the corruption...

Ah, but it is. There has been more time to embed the corruption deeper, and that's what has happened--lobbyists do things openly that used to be illegal, the ranks of the bureaus are more full of people who cannot be fired due to seniority and union rules-like regulations, and we have been desensitized to bureaucrats making 'regulations' that have the force of law without ever having been voted on by our representatives. Power has always corrupted, but this new level of absolute corruption could not happen until Washington did away with the last vestiges of the Ninth and Tenth Amendments and usurped absolute power.

And someone knew this would happen all along.

...and I do verily believe that if the principle were to prevail of a common law being in force in the US. (which principle possesses the general government at once of all the powers of the state governments, and reduces us to a single consolidated government) it would become the most corrupt government on the face of the earth.

Waking up everyday and thinking about the corrupt morass of gutter rats who infest our Government at every level is depressing.

But I feel better after I say "$#@! 'em" and move on with my life.

Truth is they fund themselves by printing money. If our tax dollars were truly necessary to keep govt going, they would have collapsed a long time ago. Digging a bit deeper, we can only find that those who control the issue of currency are the real masters of the govt, govt is nothing more than the thug arm of the money printers.

When the real wealth of the country was in the hands of the people who create goods and perform services, the taxes that those people were paid offered the people a measure of control over the govt. If govt strayed too far from what the people wanted, refusal to pay taxes worked well as a means of control without direct physical violence. It also provided an incentive for govt to have a prosperous population.

Today, since govt funding comes from printers of money and not the people, the govt answers to them, not the people. Govt has always and will always protect the issuers of their money. As a result, when we expect a measure of recourse against grievances for their actions, govt will protect the banks, hedge fund managers, and money manipulators at the expense of the population. What we end up with is Fast Food both in jobs and what we eat, and Hedge Funds. This is why corruption has taken over our govt.

To control a population, there are three foundational monopolies that are mandatory:

Money = Central Banks, Printers, Federal Reserve Bank, and other Money Manipulators
Belief = Education and Mainstream Media, also controlled by Money
Violence = The very core of what all Govts are

The people in govt are just as susceptible to manipulations of Belief, but always ultimately answer to those who control their flow of Money. The hardest thing to do for us is to overcome the damage done to those who work in govt as they genuinely Believe the manipulations of the Money Printers, just as MSM and the Dept of Uneducation genuinely believe what they are teaching and being told is the Truth. That is the true power of the Monopoly of Belief. Not religion, but the orders they are following are the best course of action for everyone. This is why it is important for Govt Employees and those in the MSM and Education to look as closely as possible at those whom they are "not allowed" to question. Some people are aware of what is really going on, some are not. Those who have mustered the courage to closely examine themselves and look at those who they are "not allowed" to question can only come to two conclusions, either nothing to see, in which case I am completely wrong and they lost nothing by questioning their authority, or that I am correct and those who control the govt are the greatest threat. They will experience tremendous Denial from the psyches of all involved as most genuinely believe what they are doing is the best course of action. They need to push through and continue to understand how their own superiors are manipulated until they find the real manipulators who control the masses with an absolute Monopoly on Belief. Then and only then will they find the greatest threats to the world.
