I will not be voting this election
I would consider strategically supporting Trumpster if he can promise to force exit of all major league neocons, Lindsey Grahams, swcbags, dgpbags, Benghazi/Iraqi/Syria freedom actors from both parties... can he do that?
While McAfee has some libertarian cred, he might be a bit too wild to be able to win major demo of Chrisrtian evangelical/christian zionist/Ted Cruzer basers:
Probably, once he is done destrying SWC Hillary:
Sanders says Hillary not qualified to be President, It will be a contested convention
Bernie Sanders slams Hillary Clinton's "racist" comment
MAGA Allies: 'Bully Israel with undeclared nukes steals land'
Dangerous conspiracy theories on Right claim MAGA fake frontgroup
Poll: Should US apologize for financing radicalization of Afghan children in 80s?
Obama-Clinton Years: A Violent Chapter in World History
Trump: If (Neocon) Adelson Backs Rubio "He'll Have Total Control" Over Him
Delta variant, death of 9 Chinese engineers in terror attack led to airport chaos & quick Kabul fall?
So Trump is the second most popular candidate behind McAfee on RPF, less popular then not voting though.
I think we need a poll to see which percentage would (in case of McAfee being Libertarian party nominee); (1)vote McAfee in the general, (2)would vote for R/D, or (3)would not vote at all.
25% supports him outright (according to this poll), how many would vote for him if it were one of three options ? (Write-ins but you get the point)
"I am a bird"
Mcafee has a name recognition problem. His name is associated with PC cancer. There is a reason why they changed the name to Intel security even though the name was so renowned. I mean I am sure the guy has a great platform, but I can't even imagine what the guy would be doing for a job if he wasn't running for president. I could be delusional here, but that's why I picked Austin Peterson.
Well yeah a few years ago I got a call from windows security from a nice eastern guy, and he said I had a virus on my computer and that I had to uninstall Mcafee to get rid of it and the all of the sudden my computer started getting all of these viruses and the viruses said mcafee on it and that I had to pay mcafee to get the viruses removed and the nice eastern guy told me that it was Mcafees fault and that is why I will never trust that guy ever again. Have you ever tried using FOXFIRE?
I think next time we start a movement, we need to make sure not to ally with anti government people and try to ally more with limited /liberty government people. The establishment turned our own guns against us when our guy got in Washington.
I picked Johnson because it appears he'll be it, but i'll vote for whomever the lp candidate is - as long as it's not a barr-type. i'd love it if Amash threw his hat in the lp ring.
edit: I want to feel good about my vote, so if lp screws up somehow, i'll write in Ron Paul again.
nice poll, thanks.
distressing number of trumpers.
Seattle Sounders 2016 MLS Cup Champions 2019 MLS Cup Champions 2022 CONCACAF Champions League - and the [un]official football club of RPF
just a libertarian - no caucus
Probably going to write in Rand.
May consider voting for Johnson (or the nominee) if it looks like we'll get to 5%.

I don't know yet.
Mcaffe, Johnson, Frank Castle, Vermin Supreme, Write in-RP, Not voting, are all on the table at this point.
I honestly haven't looked carefully at the above candidates but I know Castle can kick some butt.
Waiting to see how the L party turns out.
Is it me or does Macaffee likes big girls. And also... most of them are pretty ugly ;s.............................
I don't like Trump as a person(nor hate him), but I'm glad he set the GOP on fire, and made it melt.

Once the LP picks their nominee I will remake the poll as we head into the general election.

MGT
focused on “acquiring, developing and monetizing intellectual property assets.”before McAfee announced joining the company on May 9th, MGT stock was worth just 36 cents. The stock price has since skyrocketed to as high as $5.38. That’s a 1394 percent increase, boosting the company’s valuation by about $74 million. Hmmm.GT says it purchased technology and assets from spyware maker D-Vasive Inc. MGT, which operates a number of mobile and online gaming sites and owns stakes in DraftDay.com, a daily fantasy sport-betting platform, plans to change its name to John McAfee Global Technologies Inc., according to a statement on May 9
“I don’t think that there will be any curtailing of Donald Trump as president,” he said. "He controls the media, he controls the sentiment [and] he controls everybody. He’s the one who will resort to executive orders more so than [President] Obama ever used them." - Ron Paul
Leaning toward Austin Peterson. Not made a decision
