Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders, however, is still hanging on in his battle against frontrunner Hillary Clinton. Sanders, who won the Democratic primary in Indiana Tuesday night, celebrated by tweeting “The political revolution wins!” to his two million followers.

Former U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair has been paying close attention to the Trump and Sanders races and has some thoughts on the popularity of the unconventional candidates.

It’s a global phenomenon, according to Blair. “This is going on in the U.S. with Donald Trump on the one side and Bernie Sanders on the other side, but frankly it’s happening all over Europe,” he says. Blair’s own center-left Labour Party has struggled to find its voice recently. The party is projected to lose 175 council seats in local elections Thursday, which would mark the worst Labour performance in 35 years.
As wealth stratification rises in the U.S. and through Europe, Blair says the middle class feels underrepresented by government. Nontraditional politicians are picking up on that anger and using it to boost their campaigns, but Blair warns that “anger and answers are two different things, and ultimately we need answers.” Blair worries that the popularity of populist politicians will lead to policy that is harmful to the U.S.
Isolationism would be a disaster for the West, Blair says.

The whole world has a Donald Trump problem? WTF, come on and show some backbone!

NOT SO FAST WITH THE PANIC - he isn't POTUS or even on the November ballot yet.

There is still time to prepare:

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years.

Great nations rise and fall. The people go from bondage to spiritual truth, to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependence, and from dependence back again to bondage.

Baier: Campaigning in Iowa, you said, quote, "I know more about ISIS than the generals do, believe me." You obviously know a lot about leadership. But based on – on this, what – what's your assessment of the leader of ISIS, his strengths, his weaknesses, you know.

Trump: Well, they've had numerous leaders and they don't – you don't even – we don't even really know who the leader is. They have different people in different areas. What does amaze me is that they have a leader and that we can't get them. I mean, it's unbelievable. But you have more than one leader of ISIS and they're expanding and they're spreading. And now they've taken over the oil in Libya – which is really pure, great oil – among the best in the world. And they're sending it out on ships and we're doing nothing to blockade it. And we're doing nothing. Now, he may be a great leader, but it just seems to be every time we take out one of their leaders, you know, there's no difference.
“I don’t think that there will be any curtailing of Donald Trump as president,” he said. "He controls the media, he controls the sentiment [and] he controls everybody. He’s the one who will resort to executive orders more so than [President] Obama ever used them." - Ron Paul

Tony Blair has a cult in Kosovo. And a statute.

Albanians sure love their war criminals.

OP: Tony Blair: The whole world has a Donald Trump problem
Oh come on. Now Trump's supposed to be "the problem".
PROBLEM for whom? (maybe the establishment's path to a NWO?)

Trump talks about going after the ISIS "leader" (and cut off its head?)
in that YT video with Baier (text in quote box above.)
    Good luck with that because...

Unfortunately ISIS is a state/religious belief system; It's problematic yet very popular
many with Muslims and it's been successfully taking over most of the EU.

It's an idea. It's difficult to even imagine, but it would require extremely unpopular
measures to even take a little nick out of it. IMO, leave it alone. Don't try to mix w/it.

    KILL IDEA - FAIL!
    FUND MODERATES - FAIL!!
BOMB CITIES TO RUBBLE - FAIL!!!
    OPEN THE BORDERS - ????

How's it been working out lately, "taking the battle to them" became "open the borders".
That's like treating a cancerous human tumor with an egg-beater (i.e., the Morcellator)
And now it's spreading even faster, and the prognosis is NOT GOOD for the human, or
in this example, for the native customs, culture and the people in those EU countries
that are being assimilated. IT IS HAPPENING FROM THE INSIDE.

Trying to kill and idea with force only works if a "better" or stronger idea replaces it.
And, it appears that is exactly what is happening. Strength > IQ

Violence is not the answer. There might not even be an answer.
It would be like trying to cut the head off of a concept such as
Liberty and Constitutionally restrained government in America
    !
Even the Persuasion Wizard Trump can't do that. (but, can he make America great again?)

"...you can't kill an idea!" Sometimes they even get stronger when they are driven underground.

Let's not argue over semantics. Flaunting empathy works so much better.
