James Altucher: Is Donald Trump a Socialist?

    http://www.jamesaltucher.com/2016/04...p-a-socialist/

The only reason I am posting this is because I hardly ever see anyone make the observation that Trump is a socialist. Of course, he is a socialist, but he has an (R) after his name so the media is sloppy. Even the people who bash him don't give him this accurate label.

Sanders and Trump probably agree on more economic and political issues than disagree.Wealth tax, closing hedge fund loopholes, pro tariffs, anti-free trade, centralized government, nationalized health care, isolationism, and on and on. I left out several other issues because I got tired of writing this.
Trump = Sanders = socialism on all of these issues. I am not a socialist or a republican or a democrat. But who cares. Get it right before slinging mud or making up false labels.

In addition to the points mentioned in the OP, Trump's immigration and trade policies are socialist, and he and Sanders largely agree on those as well.

Is imminent domain for private business and being pro TARP socialist or fascist? I always thought that was fascist. It's definitely pro command economy.
