"Us people"? What kind of idiot would take even odds on a bet that is currently +200 @ all of the online books?

I understand the point of the thread, but if you want any takers, you gotta at least match the current odds. Then I might take you seriously.

What are the odds maps looking like at the Trump casinos I wonder . . .

I don't know if he would at all, but I do know this. He's the only Republican who stands a chance in doing so.

No need to get all upset though. I doubt the establishment will allow him to be the Republican nominee. They prefer Hillary.

What kind of idiot would listen to those who claim that he can beat the Democrat, or even that he's the one who has the best chance of beating the Democrat, when one of their own is right here not only admitting that the professional oddsmakers are giving 2:1 in an attempt to sucker fools into betting on Trump, but also admitting that he thinks that isn't enough?

What's the point of this, tulsa? Of the Republicans still in the race, do you not also think that Trump stands the best chance of beating Hillary? If not, who?

First of all, learn how oddsmakers set the odds. Hint - It has nothing to do with probabilities.

It isn't enough to take a bet from you. No offense, but I'd rather deal with a reputable broker if I'm getting the same odds with $ involved.

The point is, troll talk is cheap, but not a one of them actually believes Trump can win the general election. Not one. Whatever their reason is for telling us Trump can beat a Democrat, it isn't an honest belief that Trump can actually beat a Democrat. They are 100% bluff and excuses, and zero percent true faith. Even the one whining about how odds have nothing to do with actual probabilities refuses to post proof that he bet on Trump elsewhere. Obviously arguing is his reason for existing, not settling the argument by putting his money where his big mouth is--whether here or elsewhere.

I thought that rather plainly obvious, myself.

How would Trump win? Sure, he has a fanatical group of loyalists, but there will be even more people who turn out to vote just to vote against Trump.

This, coming from someone who believes that advocating sound money - the abolition of fiat and a return to the gold standard makes one a Keynesian. Lol OK, I'm the troll.

I called Ben Carson a Keynesian because he is--if he's anything at all.

Ben Carson would not necessarily get rid of the current Federal Reserve chair, he said after wrapping the debate, remarking that Janet Yellen "is a wonderful person."
“Janet Yellen is a wonderful person, I’ve known her for many years," Carson told Fox Business host Neil Cavuto in the spin room after the debate, saying that he is "not necessarily ... saying one way or the other."
Yellen and Carson, both Yale alumni, served together on the university's board, the Yale Corporation.

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!
I will put $10 on Trump to beat Hilary in the general election. I am not one much for gambling, but this is easy money.

Is there a website where we can put the money in escrow?

"[T]he only reason that we can sustain that kind of debt is because of our artificial ability to print money, to create what we think is wealth, but it is not wealth, because it's based upon our faith and credit. You know, we decoupled it from the domestic gold standard in 1933, and from the international gold standard in 1971, and since that time, it's not based on anything. Why would we be continuing to do that?

I already addressed your so-called "truth" in this thread. It is you who are afraid to accept my bet. If you are so sure that Trump can't beat Hillary, why don't you pony up the 3:1?

Crossover votes, that's how. I thought that rather plainly obvious, myself. But, perhaps you missed the same thing happening in the Reagan Revolution. And that is just the libertarians...

The possibility of that is right in front of your face. Walter Block starting a Liberarians for Trump organization. lol. Gigi Bowman for Trump too. And even Antiwar.com.

And that's because it really isn't about trump, at all. Most of those shilling for trump have been right in the center of every controversial topic here for years, attempting to distract, divide, and run people off. They have even been attempting to drag some of these topics into the whole trump "discussion" in hopes of widening it further, and further driving a wedge between people. The whole trump thing is just a continuation of this very same behavior.

Actually, most of the conversation about Trump on this forum has always been driven by those who claim to hate him. It's rather hilarious to watch.

Heck, look at who started this thread and what it's about. TRUMP. lolol

Nobody is selling anything here, though some of you are trying awfully hard. That site deals only in sales.

So why aren't you turning Cleaner44 onto that website you found offering odds? I'd rather take his money myself, but I'd be content just to see him put his money where his mouth is--with anyone.

Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

It seemed pretty plain to me that it's about calling out those who keep shilling for him. I wouldn't put you in that category, even though you've said you support him - big difference between support and shilling - you've at least conducted yourself in a rational and reasonable manner.

I guarantee a Cruz supporter would support a Trump nomination than a Trump supporter for a Cruz nomination. If the RNC screws Trump then kiss the general election good bye. Trump as of now is the best chance, like it or not unfortunately................

RNC I dare you to screw Trump.

I think you get more of what you subsidize. In other words, if you want to reduce the talk of Trump on here, STOP STARTING THREADS TO TALK ABOUT HIM AND STOP MAKING POST AFTER POST TO DISCUSS HIM.

I trust you, we just need a way to make sure we don't lose track of this bet.

$10 straight up. I don't need any odds. You can just send it by Paypal or something in 8 months.

Done. If either fails to secure the major party nomination, the bet is off (that's obviously to protect you). Otherwise, I'll be bumping this in November.

We're capitalists. Get the most for the least. You wanted to open an online book we're here trying to figure out if your serious about your new business. Since you have little payout information I'd say you probably need to give at least 3:1 to get new customers.
