Rand Out - Victory For Hawks?

Neocon scribblers like Washington Post's Jennifer Rubin are crowing about the demise of non-interventionism with the departure of Rand Paul from the presidential race. We are all neocons now, say Rubin and her allies in the war party. But not so fast! When have they been right about anything? The struggle for peace and prosperity is a struggle of ideas, not a race to elect politicians to office. And even the departure of the most non-interventionist candidate in the race does not mean the end of non-interventionism. Despite the propaganda, given the choice the people don't want war. No matter what Rubin or Kristol think. What is next for the non-partisan pro-peace movement? Tune in to today's Liberty Report for Ron Paul's take:

They already have it in the bag.

Folks voted for Obama,, and the warhawks won.

Didn't Rand vote more US Tax monies for Israels Iron Dome SCAM?
    He would have supported more.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Oh good grief! Ted Cruz and Donald Trump have both taken non-interventionist positions. Not purist like Ron, but Rand didn't take a purist position either. Sorry but Ron is missing a golden opportunity here for the liberty movement. The war hawks are losing this election. Marco Rubio is the only candidate in the top 5 finishers in Iowa that wants a no fly zone across Syria. Carson only wanted one along the Syrian/Turkey border. That is the takeaway message from Iowa. Rand's watered down non-interventionism was triangulated by Cruz and Trump's watered down non-interventionism. Non-interventionism does not equal pacifism.

Bet there was a whole lot of masturbating in the Beck household.

Don't feel too bad, though. His presidency would have meant little in the face of what would almost certainly have been an openly hostile Congress. In fact, he may have saved his own life by begging off.

There is only one correct way: freedom. All other solutions are non-solutions.

It appears that artificial intelligence is at least slightly superior to natural stupidity.

Convincing the world he didn't exist was the Devil's second greatest trick; the first was convincing us that God didn't exist.

Back in sunny Lake Jackson after a trip to Iowa and a stop at U Texas-Arlington,
where 1500 came out to see RP - non-intervention support still there some.

    some paraphrasing,
Iowa evangelicals support war, justify it . . . but they shouldn't be representing the whole nation.
They couldn't even let Rand say "wait . . . how about a yellow caution light" before you spew about
(in my language) making sand glow and change regimes creating a vacuum for the next terrorist faction.

Some have been told to not support a "nuanced" foreign policy like Rand's could be.
