Thread: I am going to back Cruz.

I don't understand how anyone here could say "They're voting for Cruz" now. The same guy that missed the fed bill he sponsored. The same guy like Rubio having issues showing up for votes. Why is the Am. public so $#@!ing misinformed?!?

Gah! Rand is out now, I'm still not voting for Cruz. Considering my local options I may not vote period.

Maybe the family is going to somehow benefit financially from a Cruz win. For me, I am thinking about voting for Sanders seeing as how he plans on expanding the healthcare industry. Maybe I will get yet another raise or even better become a union boss and retire with a pension 90% of my last year salary at the young age of 50.

People are doing whats best for them and their families. You think when Trump paid off X politician to seize some private property that he was thinking about you and your family? Ofc not, he was thinking about himself and his family. Its high time we all do the same.

I'm not a Trump fan, but you wouldn't catch me dead voting for Cruz or Rubio. I'd vote Democrat before voting for any of the crap lineup we have right now.

    Smart career move.

He was the partner of a major law firm, where he led their Supreme Court and national litigation practice, which I'm sure paid more than gay porn, and now he's a US Senator. What's his net worth $2 million? I don't see anything suspicious there.

I agree with this. People are all individuals and should be able to do what they want to do without getting condemned and shamed by others. If you want to vote for Sanders, more power to you. The only thing that matters is that all of us supported Ron and Rand's runs for President. I did what I could for both of them, making phone calls, donating money, etc. But, those of us who believe that perhaps we should vote in a strategic way to keep the worst candidate from winning shouldn't be condemned when we did all that we could to get both Ron and Rand elected President.

Forgive, not trying to suggest that you a Trump supporter, but the idea is that some people are abandoning this selfless idea of helping the country and just going for the payolla. I think we would have had a better chance in this race if the old Ron Paul supporter stayed together, but just like the idiots who think they stand a better chance of survival if they left, at the end, they and their children would lose by straying.

At this point it matters naught to me what anyone decides to do, voting democrat (for President) is as good a strategy as any. Of course local races may be an entirely different situation (or not).

You are completely ignoring the fact the Bernie is offering civil liberties AND free stuff. If you think that all these young people that are into civil liberties are moral, principled people then you are wrong.

OP, will you go to Iraq/Syria if Ted's masters orders the freedom invasions there to get the WMDs?

Ted Cruz attacks Obama for not fully funding NSA spying during shutdown

Rafael Ted Cruz: “Those who hate Israel hate America”

    Rafael Cruz's Syria invasion stance:
“We know Assad has used these weapons, and there is good reason to suspect the al Qaida-affiliated rebels would use them as well if they could get their hands on them. This poses an intolerable threat not only to our friends in the region, but also to the United States. We need to be developing a clear, practical plan to go in, locate the weapons, secure or destroy them, and then get out. The United States should be firmly in the lead to make sure the job is done right.”- Rafael Cruz
