Rand Paul new polling in Iowa is huge - we need an all out blitz of "fairness & what's Right"

Everyone, today we have a massive job, post this everywhere. Another all out phone and email to Fox Business and the RNC. Rand qualified with a poll that was conducted before the cutoff. He is beating Bush overall in the last 6 polls conducted in Iowa.

Rand qualifies, this is is what's Fair and what's Right. Let Rand Debate!!!!

The debate is tomorrow. They've already announced their lineups. You expect them to change due to a barrage of emails and later polls?

It's not a later poll. It was conducted before the cutoff deadline. The results weren't released until later though, allowing Fox the chance to exclude Rand. This is just not fair to exclude him when he's polling higher than other people already on the stage. Here is the link to the poll...

Unfortunately Fox did state that the not only must the poll be conducted before the cutoff Monday, but also must be released by then too.

    This is a lie.

Paul beat Bush in the DMR, ARG and NBC polls; Bush beat Paul in the Qunnipiac, PPP and Faux News Poll. The average on the polls is. Bush 4.5, Paul 4.0.

Not entirely. If the DMR poll included in the criteria, both Paul and Bush would have been @ 4.2%, DMR poll is well within the polling window cut off.

Wrong, the last six are currently averaged on Real Clear Politics, 4.5 Bush, 4.0 Paul. Paul should be in because this is statistical noise, but lying is deplorable.

    TO: Those Concerned
FROM: The FOX News Decision Desk
    DATE: Monday, January 11, 2016
RE: Participant List for the January 14, 2016
FOX Business Network Republican Presidential Primary Debate

As was previously announced, the 9:00 PM/ET FBN debate will feature the top Republican candidates based on the latest national, Iowa and New Hampshire polling. To qualify, a candidate needs to be either among the top six in an average of the five most recent national polls, or among the top five in an average of the five most recent Iowa or New Hampshire polls. The candidates achieving that are, in order: Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Jeb Bush, and John Kasich.

The 6:00 PM/ET debate will feature candidates who, while not hitting that threshold, received a minimum 1% support as determined by at least one of the most recent national polls. The following achieve that: Rand Paul, Carly Fiorina, Mike Huckabee, and Rick Santorum.

The six* polls used in the national average were conducted by the following
organizations: Investor’s Business Daily/TIPP, FOX News, CNN/ORC, Quinnipiac
University, ABC News/Washington Post, and Monmouth University. All were conducted within the last month (the earliest were completed December 13.) *Six were used rather than five because the earliest two polls were done concurrently.

The six* polls used in the Iowa average were conducted by the following organizations: American Research Group, Quinnipiac University, FOX News, NBC News/WSJ/Marist, Loras College, and The Des Moines Register/Bloomberg. *Six were used rather than five because the earliest two polls were done concurrently.

The five polls used in the New Hampshire average were conducted by the following organizations: Monmouth University, American Research Group, FOX News, NBC News/WSJ/Marist, and Franklin Pierce/Boston Herald.

With respect to our criteria for which polls were used to determine inclusion …

    - They are the most recent national and state polls from non-partisan, nationally-recognized organizations using standard methodological techniques. Recency was determined by actual interview dates (not release date).

    - We only used the most recent results from a particular survey organization so that no single pollster dominates the calculation of averages.

    - They used live interviewers, included both landlines and cellphones, and employed either random digit-dial or registration-based sampling methodologies. No online or automated (IVR) polls were used.

Some additional points to note …

    - Results among registered voters were used rather than adult results when available.

    - Only results among either 1) self-identified Republican primary voters or 2) Republican and Republican-leaning voters were used.

-The rank order was determined by a simple arithmetic average of publicly available results. Averages were rounded to the nearest tenth of a percentage point.

Take out that PPP from the average, then go cry about it to Breitbart, this is the Rand forum.

This is from the Politico article. Rand is trying to get Fox to reconsider based on this poll, but we need to turn up the pressure on Fox to help him.

Paul said on Wednesday morning that his camp would be talking to Fox Business about the latest poll. "We will be letting them know today that they should be counting the Des Moines Register poll and seeing if they want to reassess or maybe if there has been an error in the calculations," Paul said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe." See, this new poll has not been included, but it does fall within the deadline. And the bottom line is, I don’t think anybody in the media should decide or have an artificial designation on who can and who cannot win."

But so far Fox Business isn't backing down. "We announced the criteria in December and clearly stated the polling needed to be conducted and released by Monday, January 11th at 6pm/ET," Fox Business spokesperson Caley Cronin told POLITICO Wednesday morning.

Based off no, PPP then it's 4.2 for each. However the Loras College poll had Bush 6, Paul 2. That was conducted December 7 to 10 though, and they said their earliest poll was completed December 13, meaning Loras College should be excluded.

The obvious difference is that CNN didn't change their mind after announcing the lineup. Not sure why everyone keeps mentioning the CNN thing when it's clearly not the same.

At this point, I wouldn't want him to go into the debate. I think it will bring a lot of negativity towards him from voters and make him look whiny (which is what a lot are already saying everywhere). It's best to just expose Fox and the RNC about what they're doing to him.

Rand should go on MSNBC or something and do a commentary. Maybe ask to go on Hardball Friday and do a rebuke to each of the candidates and show how he's different. Without him, it will be a clown show.

    H. L. Mencken said it best:

“Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.”

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

Wrong - See CPUD's Post, Rand is in it as per qualification. How the heck do we know that the poll was just sat on until after the announcement by FBN? I can just hear it now, "if we release this poll Rand is in", uhhhhhhhh......."just sit on it for a couple days, the RNC is fine with the no release"

DMR is owned by the came company as the courier journal. We know how much they like rand from his senate run (hint: not much).

I'm glad to see that Robrank has been disciplined for his inane and borderline abusive comments. I'm on the fence as to whether he's a Trump/Cruz troll rather than just a pessimistic Debbie Downer who believes everything he sees in the MSM, but either way the extremely bad posts should not be tolerated on this forum. Calling another poster here a tin-foil hat conspiracy theorist shouldn't happen on this forum unless we actually have somebody talking crazy.
