Is it legal for a campaign to use affiliate marketing to raise funds for campaign?

The affiliate marketers would get paid to promote Rand. Is this legal? If it is should Rand do it?

It is essentially lead gen, I think they can do it. But it is expensive and if you are working with someone new, you never know how high the % of fake leads they are going to send.

I did send Vincent Harris a suggestion early on to have essentially a "host and post" lead generation program in which those who own liberty themed websites could sign up people to their mailing lists, with permission of course. Doubt anything came of it really.
